With all our fandom schedules getting screwed over as a result of the strike, I am thoroughly excited for S4 to premiere. Because it's the final season you know it's going to be explosive, and from the second link proves just how dark the atmosphere is going to be, bigger and different than all the previous seasons as it comes to its conclusion. I've actually watched the new promo over and over like an obsessed little fan that I am, because I can't believe it's almost here, and with the strike on the verge of ending everything seems to be coming full-circle.

I just seem to be having a gleeful day today, I'm just happy and bouncy in general so yeah. Whee.

Heh, I'm still watching the first season. I already know a few thinks that come up in the later seasons, including the identities of the four Cylons revealed at the end of the third season. Yeah, I'm so bad.

Hee! Well, at least you know so you won't get TOO far behind with what's happening if you don't catch up in time. Are you planning on finishing up before S4 premieres or taking it as you go and waiting a while? Also, have you seen Razor yet?

My plan is to watch the last two episodes of season one on Tuesday night. I am trying to get caught up since several of my friends are obsessed with the series and they want me to get caught up. Two actually got one of our professors obsessed with it too. LOL! I haven't seen Razor yet, and all I know about it is that the actor that played young Adama was hot.

Oh yes, not only that but the actor who plays young!Adama was extremely well cast since he had the same kind of mannerisms as EJO. Very impressive, I thought. But overall, Razor blew me away and I'm sure you'll enjoy it too once you get to it. :)

From what I've heard, Sci-fi may make the cast and crew wrap things up with ten episodes instead of allowing them to finish with a complete season. I'm not actually surprised.

Really? Huh. I haven't read anything regarding that, I knew that they paused because of the strike and I don't know how many they have already filmed, but it would seem silly to wrap everything up in those limited episodes. There's much to reveal and packing everything so tightly is quite hard, especially with such a complex series like BSG. I don't know.

I'm sort of out-of-the-loop with the recent news of how BSG is doing with the post-strike thing, because most articles/interviews are spoilerific to the max and I try to avoid those.

One of my friends reads all she can. Not sure about her policy on spoilers though.... Anyway, while we were talking about BSG tonight, she said they have an alternate ending for the tenth episode if Sci-fi decides to cut the season short.

Yeah, I read that last night before going to bed and I was just so stunned in disgust. How could someone do something so horrible and low like that? The boys looked so thankful and honored, and only for it to be a terrible hoax. And the fact that this guy has done these stunts before is just....I can't form words to describe how wrong and disgusting it is. I even saw a video clip someone recorded from the event and at the time thought it was sweet, but thinking back I was fooled like everyone else. How anyone can do this astounds me.

I do hope Jared and Jensen get rewarded with REAL coins by the soldiers overseas, because they ARE appreciated over there too. That sentiment should not be dismissed entirely just because one asshole decided to play a stupid hoax.

I don't think anyone should feel ashamed with being fooled. The guy obviously knows what he's doing and had everyone fooled for a very long time. I mean there was a con artist who had many people in Hollywood wrapped around his finger some years ago.

I would never have thought SPN was that popular over there but it's nice to know there is something that is keeping morale up over there. I heard about a girl who was at the con being pissed that time would be used to give Jared and Jensen medals. I wonder if she feels somehow justified with her anger now.
