I do agree that Ruby has better chemistry with both boys(not even romantic, just in terms of interacting with them on any level) and she's a more enjoyable character who fits in much better with the world of the show
Definitely. Ruby's involvement has much more importance to the actual S3 plot and her chemistry isn't much about the romancing, which in SPN seems kind of forced with most female characters who interact with the boys. I know they wanted Bela to have this sympathetic storyline and have her be connected with them, but so far she has yet to be anything but a pain. I really don't want them to push Bela more onto us, but with this season almost nearing its end and with the events from this episode, I guess it's inevitable to give us more of why she does what she does. I am interested in what she does and how it's all relevant, but whatever it is it probably won't be as exciting as Kripke makes it sound.
I tried giving Bela a chance, I really did, but they kind of failed in that department. I do kind of want her and Ruby to meet though, if only for Ruby's awesomeness to outshine Bela's. But that's my wishful thinking anyway. :)
