01. I'm really enjoying my newest Christmas gifts. I have yet to hear from some relatives but I know they all have busy schedules and hectic lives so, I'm patient. I'm kind of disappointed with the after-Christmas sales though. I mean, yeah, many things are on clearance and whatnot but I was on a hunt a few days ago and saw nothing. That and nobody has Supernatural on their special sales. Not S1 or S2. I mean seriously, that's kind of jacked up.

02. Something's been peeving me, and I witnessed this yesterday but it's kind of a general observation. WHY do certain girls think it's okay to wear short-skirts in the middle of freaking winter? Now this is short-skirts, without any leggings/stockings on underneath. First of all, I know this is California and we're not entirely as freezing as most parts of the world are even though I would love a white Christmas once and a while, but it's still COLD outside. If you want to wear something fashionable, there are THOUSANDS of winter clothes that are completely adorable especially for this time of the season. No, wearing short-skirts doesn't make you cute -- it makes you look like a dumbass. But hey, if you want to be freezing to death and end up with the flu, be my guest.

Honestly, I know not everyone is fashion-savvy, but there's something called common sense and dressing appropriately for the right occasions. Like, you wouldn't wear a short skirt to church or a temple, would you? No. I just...it baffles me.

03. I've pretty much randomly discovered Lady Sovereign's "Love Me or Hate Me" the other day. I'm liking her. Now, I'm quite picky about which rap artists I listen to because while I do like their beats (and I like using them for dance, obviously), sometimes an artist or words in the tune just don't do well with me. But Lady Sovereign...she's like the British female version of Eminem, and I'm liking that. Her sound kind of reminds me of lecca and Tigarah.

04. There will be fandom theories written up soonly, after New Years of course. Speaking of which I'm not going anywhere this year. It's going to be pretty chill and laidback.

I actually just bought Supernatural Season 1 yesterday, at Borders, cause I had a gift card. I've wanted it for about 2 years, and I didn't get it for Christmas, so I figured I'd just buy it myself. For some reason, it is crazy expensive. 60 bucks! At least on amazon.com it's only about 40.

Despite the amount of money I spent, I love it.

We already have S1, though it's in the possession with my sister and well, we don't necessarily share nicely when it comes to the boys so. I wanted to get S1 on DVD for myself and S2 because we still haven't gotten it yet. However I'm sans gift card right now, so the prices are WAY up there. I'm like c'mon, you have Heroes on special sales but not SPN? They should go hand-in-hand!

It's crazy some DVD sale prices have for lots of things. I mean, it took me forever just to get S2 of Carnivale because it cost like $100 when it first came out.

Yea, I would expect Heroes to be pretty up there in price, but I was really surprised when I saw how much Supernatural was going for.

The funny thing about winter in California is people go to extremes. You see the idiots in the small skirts walking down the street followed by the idiots dressed like they are going fishing in the arctic circle that follow. I just don't think we know how to handle weather under 70 degrees lol

Seriously. Although I don't mind those who look like they're going to the south pole and becoming Eskimos or whatever; at least they're sensible enough to dress warmly than the idiots who think wearing just a long-sleeved shirt with a short skirt is okay outter-wear.

It's called being sensible people! That and check what the weather's like outside before dressing up, my God.

i know what u mean about the short skirt thing!!!!!11 i work at the mall and i see it all the time its gross especially when their buttcheeks are out and they wear ugg boots with it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that drives me nuts short skirt + ugg boots + winter= fashion NO NO!!!

Oh God, most definitely with UGG boots. I mean, I know UGGs aren't a favorite for most but I think if worn correctly and appropriately then it's alright. But skirts with UGGs? Yeah, no. Call the Fashion Police if ANYONE is wearing the two together and thinking it's an okay thing.
