Fanvid Friday: The Expanse
Mar. 1st, 2024 12:59 am( I know you're trying to save lives. I am too. But we're on the brink right now because we keep reacting to things we don't understand. We're scared, we're hurt, and we're reaching for violence because we can't figure out what to do. But just this once, can't we try something else? )
My Comments: The Expanse is probably my favorite science fiction show right after Battlestar Galactica, and these two fanvids I chose really demonstrate precisely why. Both cover all six seasons (so while not egregious there will be spoilers), showing the journey of the characters, the struggles they face, how humanity evolved and progressed while still remaining the same, both the good and the bad, but also having a silver lining about hope for something better for our future. What I love about these fanvids is that they are actually properly long, with a mixture of chosen dialogue and different music to accompany the narrative to celebrate the journey of the show. Both are gorgeously done, and it makes me just want to rewatch the show all over again.
