++ I now have my physical copy of the first volume of Guardian, the official English translation from SevenSeas! (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧ I'm so happy to finally get to read it. I know there were some fan translations, and I read some excerpts from them, but never got to read them in full, but now I can. At least, with each volume that is released at a time. Either way though, I'm very excited, especially with the artwork that is featured in it! One of the amazing things about these danmei novels is getting little artwork pieces as a treat, not just the front and back covers.
++ Supposedly the second season of the Heaven Official's Blessing donghua is to be released in October, or so the claim says. On one hand, that makes sense, they have been giving us little teasers throughout the months, however considering the way things have been I'll believe it when I see it.
++ The Critical Role cast (sans Ashley Johnson) did the 'Web's Most Search Questions' Q&A for WIRED, and while the majority of the things they answered weren't anything new to me, having been a fan of theirs for a long time, it's still such a fun time nonetheless. It's a good interview that shows how good their friendship is with one another, so even if you haven't watched Critical Role or know who they are this would give you at least a brief overview of them.
++ Going with that, Brennan Lee Mulligan (of Dimension 20/Dropout) appeared at the WGA/SAG strike picket event doing a little interactive D&D bit with the strikers. It's hilarious, and also fitting since a lot of the Big Bads in his campaigns are often capitalism in some form, whether literally or metaphorically.
