This is The Way.
Mar. 6th, 2023 08:31 pm++ I love Pedro Pascal's reaction to not only Sarah Michelle Gellar remembering his brief moment in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, but also how he remembers quite vividly the filming of that episode and working with Sarah in general. It was very cute and sweet. I know that there's been many actors who have appeared on BTVS, and it's always nice to hear whenever they reminisce about their time on it.
++ The Mandalorian is back, aka my space cowboy husband. ❤
Apparently Jon Favreau reveals that he has no ending plan for The Mandalorian, which is a bit concerning. On one hand, I get it, you want to continue to tell endless stories and if you get that opportunity you'll take it. However, this is Disney. They know that Grogu is the money-maker and they will milk this show with everything they got, adding to the concern that The Mandalorian will just become a place to pump out potential character spin-off series and nothing more. Now, I'm more of a casual watcher of Star Wars content, I don't have strong opinions one way or the other, and I don't mind if the show is simply just episodic with Din traveling the galaxy doing side quests and sometimes participating in the bigger stuff but allowing other characters to handle that as he remains on the sidelines. I will say, though, that it's not really reassuring for a showrunner to announce that they have no plans on an ending for a story. Many good shows have been ruined by this mentality. But we shall see, won't we?
++ I'm currently watching the kdrama Beyond Evil, and I'm having a delightful time. Seriously, I'm loving it so far in all of its unhinged glory.
