What’s your favourite book in a series?
Prisoner of Azkaban is my favorite Harry Potter book, for sure. It's probably because it's the only book in the entire series that doesn't deal with Voldemort directly, not that the other ones weren't good, but I just liked the change of pace from that, and also it was the introduction of Sirius Black, who I absolutely loved.
From V.C. Andrews' Dollanganger series, Flowers in the Attic and Petals on the Wind are the two that I know for certain that I liked the most. I can't remember how I felt about the others, it's been a long while since I've read them. There are other V.C. Andrews books that I have read, like the Casteel series and the Landry series and the Logan series, that I know I enjoyed as a whole and their stories really made an impression on me, but I can't remember which book in those particular series that I preferred. I think this calls for a reread at some point to refresh my memory, or to see whether my perspective on those stories have changed since I last revisited them.
This is not all the book series I have read, obviously, but it's the only ones that are coming into my head that I know I have some favorites from.
