New shows are coming out. Here are my initial thoughts to some of them (no spoilers).

Helix -- I've seen Resident Evil, this is not going to end well. With that said, it's very appropriately creepy, with the subject of epidemics that may result into pandemics, dealing with an unknown deadly virus that has mysterious but serious side-effects, it is something that both intrigues me and makes my skin crawl. Especially the tone of the show, there is something else that is going on and everything is made to be very secretive that not even our main protagonists who had been sent there to investigate seem to know exactly what is up, and it really amps up the mystery of what is happening and why. Ronald D. Moore is one of the executive producers of the show (there was "frak" used once, so in case you forgot who was involved there was that, lol). I am curious to see where all this goes, and it's definitely my kind of genre, so I'm all in on this show.

Killer Women -- I'll admit, I'm only here for Tricia Helfer and Michael Trucco. If it weren't for them, I wouldn't even bother with it. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't that great either. It's simply a procedural show, with a hilarious southern twang style to it. But again, Tricia and Michael, and even Marc Blucas is in this, plus it has Tricia's character wanting to help women when they've been wronged and wanting justice, and there are some cute moments with her character. We'll just see how this goes. Of course, this makes me want it to have a crossover with Longmire, for obvious reasons. ;)
