( I just heard the most ridiculous and inane argument ever regarding the casting of Watson and why someone is opposed and ~angry about it..... )

People are being so ridiculous and outrageous with this, I can't even. Everyone just needs to take a step back and chill the fuck out. It's getting way out of control from both sides at this point, far beyond mere just stating your opinion, and I'm kind of tired of hearing about it, tbh. And yeah, I kinda got a little worked up over what this one person said, but it's reflective on a common (and problematic) mindset and it really just struck a cord in me that I needed to let it out.
