I've currently found a new show to watch: My Girlfriend Is A Nine-Tailed Fox. A Korean drama about a guy who accidentally unleashes a legendary fox with nine-tails in guise as a girl and ends up doing crazy things to prevent her from eating his liver.

Oh Asian drama, never ever change. ♥

Seriously though, it's cute in a wacky sort of way and totally not what one would expect. It really does a great job in incorporating the Gumiho legend into modern times, plus it's so ridiculously adorable I think I may have to puke kittens and puppies because of it. I'll write more about it later because I'm still looking for more of the episodes being subbed and I want to review it all after I finished watching it.

In other news, I'm having some technical difficulties with my main computer so I'm currently using my laptop, this also means that for the shows that I've been watching lately I have to re-download because I have to get caught up.

So. LiveJournal decided that they are no longer accepting "/" in their tags, which means everything in the tagging system for pairings and others including the forwardslash is completely nonfunctional, thus making things even harder to identify and locate.

NOT COOL ELJAY, NOT COOL AT ALL. FIX THIS ASAP OR FEEL THE WRATH OF MANY USERS.

*silently fumes at douchenozzles responsible*

ETA: It seems like this was an unintentional fluke and they are currently working on fixing it, so problem somewhat averted. Although many of the new features added seem to be of much annoyance, and rightfully so. Sometimes when they add something new it can be something I don't care for so I ignore it, but it seems like they keep adding new stuff that isn't really necessary and without options of turning it off and yeah, it's understandably annoying.

Day 08 - A book everyone should read at least once

Oh God, I don't know. There are many books out there everyone needs to read at least once, it's hard to recommend just one. I think I'll have to say to two that immediately came to mind was Matilda by Roald Dahl and The Giver by Lois Lowry, mostly because I think everyone can benefit from both books. Matilda is that story everyone should read because it's about the positive empowerment for young girls, and The Giver was one book that I read in junior high that had a very interesting concept that makes one think. It also has relations to the theme that Nineteen Eighty-Four had, if that's helpful.

Yeah, this is really not my area of recommending one book for everyone to read at least once, since I can recommend my entire bookshelf or all my favorites, lol.

On another matter, unfortunately my cousin didn't win the competition. Thanks to everyone who voted anyway, it means a lot that you guys participated when you didn't have to. And the dealio with my sister's car accident thing, apparently the insurance people deemed her 100% responsible for the accident even though she was the one who'd gotten hit, which led her to having her car totaled indefinitely. My sister called her insurance to see what happened and how that was determined and if that can get straightened up, but the likelihood that it will seems very slim. Life currently is being unfair, and I'm not happy with it. It's such a strange thing when you're upset when bad things happen to other people, especially when it's your family. I feel kinda helpless.

And now I feel like I'm spamming you guys today, heh.
