Medium: "Method to Madness" Episode Review

This was quite a doozy of an episode, especially being the second day of the beginning of the first week of the new year. Most series have quite a few weeks before their season is picked up again, so I'm glad Medium was first to start up. Now, on with this episode plotline and storytelling.

Three Shiny Pretties of the Day

+ Memoirs Shiny: Saw Memoirs of a Geisha today, finally! Haven't been able to go on some dates due to the unexpected and uninvited illnesses, and also the ungodly hours our local movie theater has it showing. Though today it was preplanned that we were absolutely going to see it no matter what, and we did. I loved this film! Granted some things were changed from the book, but many of the main points were there and with that, I was pleased with the entire thing. It's a gorgeous and beautifully adaptation of the novel; adored the soundtrack courtesy of John Williams, and I loved Zhang Ziyi's rendition of Chiyo/Sayuri. + Bloodbath Of Shiny: I also finally watched my Battle Royale DVD that I received as a Christmas present. The director's cut special edition. Lovely, lovely, lovely. So shiny with the blood and gore. Hee.

+ Glee! Shiny: I'm just gleeful this evening, and I don't really know why. I had a good night's rest, despite being woken up to see Memoirs, but I was well-rested and just feel.....very happy go-lucky this particular day. Much shiny!
