Long days are long and exhausting, but the week is almost over so, yay?

I've only been kinda watching Heroes, but I get the jist of what's happening. But I have to say Bryan Fuller's brutal honesty regarding how the show previously had been to what is going to become of the future is ridiculously awesome. Because it's true. I would hope Kring would admit to this, but coming from Byran Fuller is kinda better.

I did catch Medium Monday and holy crap, not only was it a "to be continued" episode but there was MORENA BACCARIN and JAMES VAN DER BEEK? Playing brother and sister only together in that way without really being brother and sister? Nicely twisted. Also, people have to realize that James is so totally not Dawson anymore. He plays creepy very well, like when he was in Criminal Minds. Fucking scary.

I've realized that if were to ever go to a convention, especially for SPN, that's nearby I need to get notification about it beforehand. Like WAYYY prior to the approaching date because it'll most likely be sold out by the time I get wind of where and when and who's coming. Of course the incidents where you are going to see a particular actor and the inconvenience of them canceling at the last minute, traveling the distance and then everything else in between. Yeah. I'm impressed with people who do go despite those complications. I'm merely in the thinking stages if going to a convention were a possibility, because I really do kinda want to but there are those cons as well as pros. So, I dunno.

And yes, this is primarily because I want to see and be dazzled by Misha in person. I AM SHALLOW OKIES, SUE ME.

1. Thoughts on tonight's Heroes, 1.21 "The Hard Part": To become a hero, one must be willing to make sacrifices, no matter how big or small ) This show owns me, like whoa. I'm going to have to review this on a more thorough level, which possible speculations because this is one mindfucking fandom. I still have to place my thoughts on the previous one, since that episode was insane. But yeah.

2. Okay, I've been listening to Hilary Duff's new album "Dignity" for some odd reason. I don't even care for her that much, and yet her newest songs are addictive. I blame my sister for that though, for repeating the songs over and over and getting them inside my head!

3. More exciting news concerning fandom: Medium has been picked up for a fourth season! I'm completely psyched, since I simply love that show. Of course, it would be better to move it back to its original timeslot (Monday's at 10pm) instead Wednesdays, as I keep forgetting. It totally screws up my schedule. Besides, wouldn't it be a great lineup for it to air directly after Heroes? It definitely would make things more convienient for me, personally.

1. I'll be enjoying my four-day weekend, courtesy of President Washington's birthday holiday, along with the excitement over Chinese New Year this Sunday. Of course, I still have to study for the first exam in my history, which is probably the hardest class I have this semester; and I mean hard, because even though I read the material the professor is meticulous on the wording for answering questions, especially for short-answer essays. It's not until Thursday, but studying now will guarantee me at least a good-enough grade for the first exam.

2. It's multi-fandom review time!

Battlestar Galactica 3.14 - The Woman King )

Medium 3.12 - The One Behind The Wheel )

3. Speaking of Valentine's, nothing incredible happened on Wednesday for me. Although I did get some chocolate goodies, including some chocolate-covered strawberries. Believe me, I was in heaven. I know not everybody enjoys that particular holiday and sees it as overrated, but I see it as not just a day for significant others but the acknowledge of people loving and caring about one another, you know? To make others feel good, despite what's going on in their lives. It's a great feeling. Though awww, LJ turned back to its normal plain layout; I really liked the V-Day themed one, it was adorable. Ah well. Oh, and if anybody missed my ambiguous music post of happiness, I do believe the links still work!

4. Now? I've got tons of chores to do. Which is slightly contradictory of what I mentioned above, though before I actually start relaxing and weighing out my studying I have to finish the necessary chores or else there will be no relaxation time.

I. So, as I mentioned before LiveJournal's been going through some new changes with features, in case anyone hasn't noticed. One in particular hover-menus over userpic icons, which most people aren't thrilled about having. If you're displeased with this feature, as I was, then you can go to the Viewing Options, turn it off, and voilĂ ! Problem is solved.

II. Why is it that the House fandom mainly attracts the most amount of trolls and immature twats? It's just too weird.

III. Since it's been announced on the official website and other sources, Medium will be premiering it's third season on Wednesdays, starting November 15th. This is primarily due to the new series, Kidnapped, which has been doing poorly, has been moved to Saturdays. Thankfully, NBC had taken the wise decision of allowing Medium to be boosted up in its season three premiere date, as it was originally supposed to have been midseason sometime in January. This is fantastic news to hear! All my shows are returning! All there is now is Psych, which will be returning midseason.

IV. Very interesting. I spotted the Ninth Doctor (Christopher Eccleston) on Poirot earlier today, in the episode "One, Two, Buckle My Shoe". It's funny because I've seen that episode numerous of times, and I just realized it was him. Huh.

V. All new Heroes tomorrow. Yay!

Medium 2.15 - 'Sweet Child O' Mine' Review )

I am seriously anticipating V for Vendetta. After watching the trailer, it looks simply fucking fantastic. Also, Natalie Portman starring in it makes it even more worthwhile (not that I wasn't going to see it anyway, but still). Definitely cannot wait. "Remember, remember, the fifth of November." This was quite a doozy of an episode, especially being the second day of the beginning of the first week of the new year. Most series have quite a few weeks before their season is picked up again, so I'm glad Medium was first to start up. Now, on with this episode plotline and storytelling.
