Welcome, 2006!

♥♥♥HAPPY NEW YEAR!!♥♥♥ Saying farewell to 2005 and welcoming the brand new year of 2006. Wow, has this past year gone by quickly or what? At least it seems that way to me, as if feels just like yesterday I was waiting for Serenity to arrive in the theaters and now it's suddenly New Years Day! Huh. Odd, eh?

I wish everyone out there a wonderful and safe evening of fun celebration! Careful not to get too drunk, now. Hopefully nobody has turned into wacky space monkeys and being all whirly-crazy, destructing property and acting like such babbling, bumbling bunch of baboons; and I certainly hope no one has turned into that slurring assholic guy drunker than a sailor and peeing on everybody's shoes....'cause that's one way to ruin a great time of fun. Anyways, have an amazing New Years celebration! ;)

Random New Years Day Blah

So. It's windstorming, particularly harshly right now as it has been all day. Minimal rain showers in between, but mostly windstorms. Tree branches falling, trash cans rolling around on the roads, the usual stormy kind of weather. Friday it was just as bad, only gigantic thunderstorms all day and all night. I actually checked outside and in the backyard where there used to be grass, there stood a lake in its place.

We've been fortunate to not have a power outage, and I'm hoping this luck continues. For there aren't enough flashlights. Though we could light the fireplace, which would give us some romantic-kind of light, but still not enough for the entire house. *wishes she had more candles*

Definitely the storming kind of weather that makes me happy...although I am slightly worried about some family that had to go to work in these conditions. Especially with the wind acting all schizophrenic and Mother Nature PMSing on New Years Day.

But now I must eat something, for my stomach is growling in hunger. And then I shall watch Sherlock Holmes, and then maybe Battle Royale later this evening. Yay!

Three Shiny Pretties of the Day (New Years Style!)

+ Celebration Shiny!: First day of the new year of 2006. Going relatively well, despite the massive desctructive weather conditions recently. New Years Day is more of a Relaxation Day, considering I slept in incredibly late from staying up way later than I had planned due to excitement and such. Of course, now all my favorite television shows have to return from the holiday hiatus with new episodes, which all have a later date, except for Medium, for a new episode airs tomorrow! Yay! Shiny, this New Year has begun.

+ New Years Resolution Shiny: Hardly ever do I make New Years Resolutions, because everyone genuinely breaks them anyway. However, I have made one resolution that I intend to keep: do well in college. Because college is shiny, therefore I must do well in order to move onward with life. Also, figure out what to major in.

+ Firecrackers Go Boom, Shiny: Even when it's raining, there's still firecrackers being popped on the eve of the first day of the New Year. Hee, so shiny.
