THE SPICE GIRLS ARE BACK, BITCHES! Yes, score! The rumors have been confirmed by the girls themselves, and the group is about to make their reunion tour. To say that I'm totally psyched about this would be an understatement. I mean, seriously, I've been waiting for this since like, for-freaking-ever! I loved the Spice Girls when they came out, was devastated that they were short-lived, however their status was such an impact and now this wonderful news. Sign me up, I'm there.
Oh, and this is proof of the many reasons why I love Zachary Quinto. Warning, the videos autoplay and the interview is about an hour longlike every interview with him should be, but it's well worth it. *squees at the mention of Mylar*
The other day I was flipping through channels and stumbled across Zenon: Girl from the 21st Century airing on Disney Channel. Ah, brings back memories. Despite the bright-colored outdated clothes of the late '90s, medicore acting, horrible dialogue and overall corny and cheesiness of it, it's still a good light-hearted fun kind of movie. And yes, I'm not ashamed to admit that I have the studio version of "Supernova Girl" on my computer. I actually listened to it after watching it, actually, and it never gets old.I dare anyone to make a BSG fanvid to that. Also, am I the only one who automatically thinks that when Zenon says the infamous exclaimation "Zedis Lapedis", that she's actually saying "Zedis la Penis"? Or is that just me and my gutter mind?

Date: 2007-06-29 11:53 pm (UTC)Oh, God, Zenon. I still love the movies, especially the first two, despite their lack of redeeming features. I went out and bought the OST when the third movie came out just so I could get "Supernova Girl" and "The Galaxy is Ours" on CD. It's such a corny CD but I still listen to it every so often and just sort of - bounce around.

Hee, I like bouncing around to the songs too. It's still fun to do, no matter how corny. XD

Date: 2007-06-30 12:52 am (UTC)You have a studio copy of Supernova Girl? Any chance you'll upload it? Pretty please? I haven't seen the Zenon movies in forever (seems like those are one of the few things Family Channel up here doesn't repeat to an obnoxious level). Though the actress that plays her has been Maxie on General Hospital for so long now that it would probably just be weird. lol

Date: 2007-06-30 01:04 am (UTC)Yeah, I know what you mean. DC replays the same old stuff over and over it's gets tiring, but every once and a while I'll be lucky enough to see certain movies that are rarely, if ever, shown on that channel anymore. I just wish they'd continue to show old school movies like they used to. It's funny whenever I see Kristen Storms on General Hospital I cry out "Zenon!" Heh.
Here you go: Supernova Girl (Zoom Zoom Zoom) (http://www.sendspace.com/file/3iddnj), enjoy!
wrote this last night but LJ was down...
Date: 2007-07-01 05:59 am (UTC)Yeah, it totally feels like I'm being given a present when they air something I haven't seen in a couple years. Family Channel's movies are 2 on Friday, 4 on Saturday, and I think 3 on Sunday, but it's the same stuff constantly. Like, I love Camp Nowhere, but why is it on twice in two weeks? Spread it out a bit so I can be excited about it. Or in April? HSM was on every weekend for three. Love it, but not quite that much. And I totally know what you mean about Kristen Storms being on GH. It took me MONTHS to stop doing that when they replaced Robyn Richards with her. And I watch the show every day.
Thank you! You're awesome :D
