I think I'm getting sick. Ugh, damn allergies. I don't want to be sick! It's officially summer (according to the calender), and I've had plans on going places and doing things. Sickness will only prevent those from happening and make me miserable; hopefully it'll pass by this weekend.

I'm sure everyone has heard about the tragic murder-suicide incident involving WWE's Chris Benoit. It's such a devastating, depressing and terrible thing to have happened, and while I never knew this man or watched what he did I've read multiple posts from others who've been fans of his or have met him. It must've been shocking to learn that someone you looked up to or admired could commit such a heinous and horrific act. I know absolutely nothing about his past other than what the article has stated, so I cannot give my personal opinion based on that alone. It's just saddening news this even had to occur, and my sympathies go out to his family/friends, the WWE and his fans.

On a lighter note, [livejournal.com profile] heroes_macros is seriously THE best community I've witnessed. So much funny, I love it. Same goes for [livejournal.com profile] bsg_macros, which is still relatively new but nevertheless, hilarious! Macros communities FTW, yo!

Speaking of which, the incredibly-short teaser for BSG's Razor. Holy frakking flying chrome-toasters, Starbuck! Is that what I think it is, an old school Centurion behind Adama? Whee! Can't November arrive any sooner? Please? See, this is why I'm rewatching the series, among other reasons but mainly because I can't wait for this TV-movie. Although it'll be counted as episode "0" for the fourth and final season, but whatever. Also, are they still considering doing the Caprica spinoff or has that been haulted?

Oh, Namie Amuro + Wentworth Miller = orgasmic. This isn't fanmade, this is the real thing. Namie's song, "Top Secret", is featured as the theme song for Japan's premiere of Prison Break's second season. I love it when two of my favorite things collide together, and it's a perfect match too! *glees*

GIP. *loves Kara, like whoa*

Ah, happy Friday the 13th everyone, whether or not it's been the luckiest or unluckiest day of the week.

Okay, so LiveJournal's been making itself up with some new features. I sometimes wonder if these changes are for the better or worse for the site in general. The LJTalk is okay, not something I plan on doing anytime soon, but it's optional since one has to download the feature in order to access it. However, the one newest feature that's quickly becoming a pet peeve is those little information popups whenever you have your mouse arrow hover over someone's username headpic. Not only is it pointless, but slow things down. There really should be an optional change whether a user wants that feature or not, because it's really starting to bug the hell out of me.

New episode of Battlestar Galactica tonight. Plus Anthony Stewart Head will be on the episode of Doctor Who, showing before BSG. This just makes my night so much better with this lineup!

I may be getting addicted to Prison Break, as well.

Happy lovely Friday, March 31st! The end of the month. Almost nearing Easter break (although most people already had their spring break vacations early, so I've read). Thus springtime has officially arrived --- and around here the rainstorms are getting more and more unpredictable. Hopefully, weather conditions are at least decent elsewhere with other folks. Also, new Doctor Who this evening on the SciFi Channel!

-♠- Our Captain Gets Creepifying: Unless you haven't heard the news, watched television previews or seen it advertised online, Nathan Fillion's new Sci-Fi/Comedy/Horror film SLITHER officially hits theaters today. It's hysterically gross and disgusting, and yet Nathan wants all fans to view it at least once as his belated birthday present. And what better way to spend a Friday afternoon than appeasing our lovely Captain? Plus, there's already been a positive review for the film, including a nice praise towards Nathan.

-♠- "You know what I miss? Leeches.": Belated, however a lovely 41st birthday to Juliet Landau who played the fabulously crazy-insane vampire Drusilla.

-♠- Slayers and Slayerettes No More?: Is it the "Curse of Buffy"?, in which this article proclaims since after the cancellation of Buffy the Vampire Slayer that the actors haven't found another home to successfully hold their acting careers, much like the Seinfield actors. My reaction: this article is far from the truth; mostly everyone seems to be doing perfectly fine where they are. David Boreanaz stars in Bones that will be getting a second season, Michelle Trachtenberg has had plenty of success including getting it on with Simon and will soon to be guest-starring in one of my favorite shows. Amber Benson has written, directed, produced, and starred in her own successful independent film and creating more as we speak, and Alyson Hannigan is now on How I Met Your Mother and both she and Charisma Carpenter are regular guest-stars on Veronica Mars. And while Sarah Michelle Gellar may have starred in less-than-great films they have been box office breakers, therefore her Hollywood career is flying high in that sense. From this, mostly everyone from the BtVS cast is holding their own nicely.

-♠- Wentworth Central: Prison Break gets renewed for a second season, so all Wentworth Miller and Prison Break fans should be extremely pleased about this news. So, apparently FOX is renewing both Bones and Prison Break, and hopefully House M.D. as well. Let's just hope this streak lasts....
