Three Shiny Pretties of the Day
Feb. 19th, 2006 08:40 pm+ Sunday Afternoon Shiny: Happy Sunday, to which I slept in longer than I should've been this day. But hey, that's what the weekend is for, right? Good thing I haven't got a class tomorrow, otherwise my sleep schedule would be all off. Still, shiny that I had a good nights rest. I felt rejuvenated when waking up.
+ Creepifying Shiny: Have been watching Supernatural on VHS tapes, catching up on what I've been missing. Seriously, this is probably the best WB series I have seen since they discontinued Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel. Of course, when the WB and UPN merge to become the CW network I'm hoping they keep this amazingly creepifying show. Because, aside from the amazing cast and storylines each episode, it's damn entertaining and shiny. And as advertised, watching it at night and/or with the lights turned off really intensifies the experience. Like, whoa.
+ Achievement Of Shiny!: Did daily chores, including laundry. Also cleaned the mirrors in the bathrooms and such, and cleaning up bedroom from the dust and making sure tiny insects aren't to be sneaking around in between dark spaces and corners (because, yuck). Still, all with the shiny chores!

Date: 2006-02-20 05:32 am (UTC)I love the filming style of the show, as well. The lighting effects and almost grittiness of it all. And the usefulness of urban legends and ghost stories every week and storylines, and great guest-starring cast members. Just keeps getting better and better.

Date: 2006-02-20 08:38 pm (UTC)The lighting is fabulous. It adds so much to the show. They have had some excellent guest stars this season (OK, I was so squee happy to see both Amy Acker and Julie Benz). It is by far the best new show of the season for me.

Date: 2006-02-20 05:16 am (UTC)Everyone keeps raving about Supernatural! Of course, I can't keep up with the many shows I already watch and so can't think about other shows. (I only just today got caught up on Veronica Mars from the past two episodes.) But still. That show must rock if nearly all my friends list keeps talking about it. Enjoy!
