+ Sickness, Be Gone! Shiny: Due to the unfortunate illness I captured just after the holidays and the misery I endured during the time I was ill, everything is finally clearing up for me. It's gradually going away, but at least I am getting better. That, in itself, is shinier than all the shinies out there (for the time being, that is).

+ 'Not A Subliminal Message' Shiny: Brand new Ayumi Hamasaki music video, "Ladies Night"! ^_^ This is definitely got to be her best music video yet. The title of the song is misleading however makes tons of sense in context, because the message from the translation of the lyrics, as well as the concept of the video itself, is extremely powerful. Well, just watch and judge for yourself. Plus, the song is very upbeat, fun, and catchy! And I want those blue leg-thingies she has as well, gorrammit! So very shiny, Ayumi is. *must need MP3, like whoa* ♥

+ Christmas SQUEEage Shiny: Have been thoroughly enjoying my gifts, oh yes. Shiny they are, indeed. And I have been rewatching Serenity over and over again. Hee!

You so know I did.... I loved the "FRUITY OATY BARS" Advertisment!!!
So weird but great none the less.... I loved that they used footage they shot but weren't going to actually use the first time. (the part where Mal picks up River and carries her out) and that everyone including Joss and Nathan knew Mal was taking River to the ship...
OH SO GREAT!!!

I seriously can't decide if I just want to throw myself at Joss or beg for a job... That guy is so amazing...

From Joss's introduction of the "Fruity Oaty Bars", he says it's like Japanese commericals on steriods. And believe me, after seeing the many Japanese and Asian commericals I have to agree --- plenty of them are just as eccentric, if not moreso.

Joss is my hero in the filmmaking industry; he's such an underrated person in that business that should have more credit for what he creates. He is simply a genius mastermind, and I admire him for that.

According to some reliable sources, the Australian and overseas DVDs of Serenity have MORE extra features than U.S./Canadian DVDs (and better coverart, too). *sigh* If only I had a region-free DVD player....
