The Oscars are so weird. I guess awards are always a little silly, but some awards are so much sillier than others. I probably should be surprised that the people voting don't have to watch the movies they're voting for, but somehow I still am.
Luckily I have no emotional investment in ASOIAF so I can feel bad for GRRM lol. When I listen to him talk about his woes, even though it's his whole job and he's filthy rich thanks to those books, I still think, I feel you dude.
