rogueslayer452My Comments: Although lesser known, Detective Samoyeds quickly became one of my favorite cdramas not too long ago, and I ended up shipping the characters Li Zhi and Samo Duoluo. Simply put, they are polar opposites in personalities and yet they have a similar goal and mindset, which is solving cases and getting justice, in which they are quite equal. While there isn't much of a big online fandom presence, there are surprisingly a bit of fanvids being made, especially from Vietnamese fans. The first fanvid is a very general kind of mashing up of their scenes, I love the color filters the vidder used and the way they used the song (which I believe is one of Xu Haiqiao's own songs?). The second fanvid has a bit more of a fan created narrative, and I loved the way the vidder edited scenes together to make it seem very dramatic, and again the coloring filters are gorgeous, plus the brief non-related steamy scenes used was also a nice touch to the storytelling element, as well.
(My other favorite narrative fanvid isn't able to embed, but it is located here, and while it's sad it's very nicely edited. I love it when narrative fanvids tell a story like this, because they use footage from canon while creating their own little fanfics just in fanvid format, it's great.)
