++ There's a friending meme going around now.

++ Euphoria has been renewed for a third season. I'm not surprised, since apparently it has doubled its viewership during this second season that is still airing (which I'll wait until the season is finished to give my thoughts on it, because I do have thoughts), but I'm very pleased by this news.

++ The Legend of Vox Machina is another show I'll wait until the entire season has aired and finished to give my entire thoughts on, but I do want to give a non-spoilery impressions on it: I absolutely am adoring it so far. As someone who first got into Critical Role during their first campaign, just seeing not only these characters but also specific scenes and moments come to life has been absolutely surreal. I'm just enjoying seeing something that I know the reference to for something further down the line, or little moments that we saw happening during the stream actually happen in animated form, and it makes me absolutely giddy and I cannot help but fangirl out. Moreover, I love seeing non-CR people getting into the show, not knowing anything about the characters or the story, and reacting to what is going on. And so far it's been incredibly positive and that just makes me so happy to see.

If you have Amazon Prime and are curious about it, I do recommend checking it out. It has six episodes released so far, each episode is half an hour, and the arc they're in is perhaps one of my favorites because it is so rich and juicy. (Just to note: it's a very mature, adult-themed animated show, so take that into consideration.)

++ I haven't been watching The Book Of Boba Fett, mainly because, aside from Ming-Na Wen, I've had no real interest to, however of course knowing that my beloved Din made an appearance in the last couple of episodes has made me realize just how much I miss him so much and that I want the third season of The Mandalorian. I know that Pedro has been busy filming other things, The Last Of Us television series that I'm also excited for, but even though he may have only provided the voice-over for Din's scenes I honestly cannot wait to see more of him when we get The Mandalorian back.

I've been meaning to watch TBOBF (because Ming-Na) but I haven't gotten around to it yet either.

I've watched the first episode of Vox Machina. I will try the show again later, but right now, I'm in an Asian period and I can't really get into the US content I try.

That's understandable. This is why I have a long list of shows that I need to get into, because I can't just hop from one to the next. I need to be in the right mood and mindset and if my mind is strictly on one particular thing I can only focus on that.

It is a little bit as if The Book Of Boba Fett decided to be just The Mandalorian for two episodes. I think the show is still worth a watch. It is not as good as The Mandalorian, but I appreciate getting some backstory for Boba Fett.

It is a bit strange that they did that, though perhaps in a way it makes sense, but I've seen varying opinions on that method because it's like they're mostly focusing on the cameos and less about allowing the actual main characters of the show carry the story, which is a valid criticism to have. I get that the SW universe is ever-expanding and ever since The Mandalorian got a lot of recognition they've been trying to find ways of expanding it beyond that, but y'know.

I haven't watched it to judge, though I understand the criticisms.

I can't wait to start watching Campaign 1 of Critical Role... I'm currently in episode 122 of the 2nd one and almost caught up with the 3rd (that one I watch with the gf). At first I was worried about watching the TV show before the campaign, but I assume it'll only cover an arc, so I won't be terribly spoiled... Anyway. I love how excited they all are about this show, I mean, I can't even imagine how it must feel to see something that stated just as a game with friends turn into this HUGE thing.

Euphoria getting a 3rd season is great news :)

The first two episodes mostly deal with a pre-stream arc, which we only had reference to when CR started officially streaming for an audience, so it was new to everyone which was nice to see. Otherwise, so far it is dealing with a very specific arc from early in the campaign, and it's remained pretty damn close to it, it's just a more condensed version and even if you watch the animated series before getting into C1 proper it won't ruin the experience.

But I really love seeing the level of excitement, as well. It's such a passion project, and you can tell how proud they are of it, and I'm proud of them because it's such a dream come true. :')

I haven't dipped into Euphoria at all but the buzz is peaking my interest.

I've also heard excellent things about The Legend of Vox Machina so I should give that a go at some point too.

I'm behind on my Disney Plus Star Wars watching, I still need to do season 2 of The Mandalorian!

I will have to warn you that Euphoria is not for everyone, it's very stylistic in nature and features mature content (ex: there's a lot of full-frontal male nudity, I think Euphoria is the only show I've ever seen where there's been so many dicks featured), the second season definitely upped that mature content a bit. It has phenomenal performances, amazing soundtrack, breathtaking visuals, but it's certainly something where viewer discretion is very much advised.

Good warning. I looked up the season 1 trailer and it looks kind of like Skins in terms of content - but I guess with more nudity which isn't something that I think would bother me. Worth giving it a try at some point as it does sound like something that is worth the cinematographic experience.

I don't know anything about Euphoria except I keep seeing things on TikTok about people getting ready for work or school and then forgetting they go to Euphoria and then change their outfit...lol

I don't really pay attention to the Euphoria fandom, let alone what people are saying on other social media platforms, but I know that even if the "opinions" over there are skewed about what the show is about from memeing it and whatnot at least TikTok is good for promoting certain pieces of media (when it premiered in 2019 TikTok/Instagram were hopping onto trying the Euphoria makeup looks, that I remember). So, take what you see in passing over there with a grain of salt.

If you love The Mandalorian you should probably watch those two Boba Fett episodes. Fett and his own cast are barely even in them, it's just a continuation of Mando S2.

Yeah, that's what I've gathered based on the things I've seen, it seems like those episodes were just teasing people for the third season The Mandalorian, which I appreciate.

I've enjoyed The Book of Boba Fett though it was a bit slow moving at first. But I'm also biased because Boba Fett was always a favorite of mine. And of course Ming-Na Wen is always great in everything she does.

I've not been huge with SW in general, so I'm not really that into Boba as a character necessarily, though I liked that they kind of revived and redeemed his character in The Mandalorian, as many fans of his were thrilled by that. But I don't know if it's enough for me to get interested in watching his show. I don't know. We'll see.
