++ We have the official trailer for the sixth and final season of The Expanse, and it's making me incredibly emotional. I have no idea what happens (some idea, based on vague things I've read, but I haven't read the books so I'm not sure where it all goes) and how the television series will conclude, and it only has six episodes to wrap everything up. It's a mixture of sadness and excitement for what's to come.

++ Heaven Official's Blessing also has the official trailer for season 2 that was released today, something that I didn't expect but am elated all the same! It looks absolutely gorgeous (I mean, obviously, but Hua Cheng....whew). When it'll premiere, or when it'll be made available internationally, I don't know, but I'm excited all the same. Between this, the first volume of the English translation of the novel coming out soon, and Eternal Faith still filming, I'm honestly set for everything TGCF-related.

I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT THE SECOND SEASON OF HEAVEN OFFICIAL'S BLESSING. And Hua Cheng? WHEW.

I AM SO HYPED FOR IT. I love how the first season really kind of obscured Hua Cheng's true appearance until the special episode, but the trailer for S2 is just all "AND HERE HE IS, ISN'T HE HANDSOME AND HOT AS FUCK?" and I'm like, YESSSS!!!

I haven't even watched the trailer for The Expanse. I read the book, so I can't get spoiled that much. I still want to go in blind lol

I haven't heard about Heaven Official's Blessing before, I think. I might check out what it is about.

Also, your post reminded me that I should finally check out The Expanse. It's on my to-watch list for so long now, but I still haven't seen it...

I wrote a non-spoilery mini-review (https://rogueslayer452.livejournal.com/810572.html) of it a little while ago after I finished watching the first season, if you want to check that out.

We're getting a live-action adaptation as well (that's currently filming) and official physical copies of an English translation of the webnovel (among the other novels that the author has written), which has been incredibly exciting news for many fans. Heaven Official's Blessing is just a great story, filled with not just a slow-burn romance but there's a lot of exciting plot-heavy stuff, which we haven't even scratched the surface of with the animated adaptation but it has to condense things considering how, well, dense the story itself is (the novel has, like, over 200 chapters including extras, so).

The Expanse is such a fantastic show, just amazing scifi, imho. I hope you get to it eventually.
