++ Leverage: Redemption is here and, while I haven't finished yet, I am absolutely loving it. Leverage is one of my favorite feel-good shows and this revival does the original justice. It was filmed during the pandemic and there are moments where you can tell, just by the blocking of certain shots and scenes which is understandable, but overall it's not really distracting. As a whole, seeing them back makes me very happy and I'm having a good time.

++ Exandria Unlimited is an eight-episode mini-campaign that Critical Role is hosting, they've had four episodes so far and it's just an utter delight. Everyone is so chaotic and dumb and it's great. What's even better is that Matt gets to be a player for once instead of DMing, and while I've seen him play in other games before it's never been in his own world that he created. I love the new additions to the cast, and I love that we're revisiting aspects of C1, getting all nostalgic. But in general, it's just a fun little campaign. I love Aabria's syle of DMing (introducing more people to the fact that yes, there are other ways to DM aside from what Matt does), and so far I have to say that Aimee Carrero has thoroughly enamored me. Exandria Unlimited is just a fun mini-campaign and I hope that we get more of these kinds of mini-campaigns in the future. I think it's a great way to flex those creativity muscles of exploring more areas of this world and bringing in more guests, something I know that Matt has been wanting to do.

I literally just finished Leverage Redemption. I was impressed that they managed to make you feel like no time has passed since the original sho ended. The cast came back to the characters so effortlessly and the show still has the same charm <3
I'm super sad that Hardison was barely in it (he was always my favorite) but Breanna is an excellent addition to the cast and I liked Harry too. More than I ever liked Nate tbh!

This is one of the few examples of revivals done right, where they keep the charm and spirit of the original series to where it doesn't feel like time has gone by at all while also adding newer elements. I'm very impressed with how things have been done. I only have three episodes left and I can't wait to see them. :D
