Really cool literary meme taken from [livejournal.com profile] forgivesusan

Hardback or Paperback?
For just reading, either or; for buying, paperback --- because it's cheaper.

Highlight or Underline?
Highlighting. Underlining maybe, unless it's in pencil. Because I can't read pencil underlining, and it easily erases and gets smudged.

C.S. Lewis or J.R.R. Tolkien?
C.S. Lewis. I find Tolkien's written work a little difficult to get through, especially Lord of the Rings. You have to reread a page three or four times to understand what's actually being said! At least, that's how it was with me. I attempted to read through it, but stopped midway in the beginning of the first book.

E.B. White or A.A. Milne
A.A. Milne. Hello, Winnie the Pooh anyone?

T.S. Eliot or E.E. Cummings?
Uh....

Stephen King or Dean Koontz?
Dude, they're both amazingly brilliant writers! Dean Koontz has extraordinary talent in creating the twisted most sadistic world from his more twisted imagination, and I love his work. Plus, my English teacher recommended him and said I would enjoy his books. And indeed I surely do. Stephen King is just purely phenomenal with his writing. Everything he's done, from Carrie to The Dead Zone is just....marvelous. Both are on my top favorite authors.

Barnes & Noble or Borders?
I mostly go to Borders, but Barnes and Noble is good as well. Hell, anything with books is fine with me. The more the merrier! (But only those that aren't expensive, because I am cheap like that. Heh.)

Bookmark or Dog-ear?
I don't usually do bookmarks. I can tell where I left off my memory --- or sometimes not. It all depends.

Alphabetize: By Author or By Title?
I don't. If there's a space on my bookshelf I just stick them anywhere. Mostly the ones I'm currently reading will be laying on their sides in front of all the stacked books, so I can get to them easier. But that's usually three or four books at a time.

Novella or Epic?
Eh, either or. I'm not entirely picky. Though I love epic novels, and novellas, if well-written with enough to keep me reading page-after-page, I definitely have no problems with.

Fiction or Non-fiction?
Both!

Historical Biography or Historical Romance?
Again, I repeat, both please! Anything historical is totally intriguing to me. Historical romance in fiction is also very interesting. But would one call the Kushiel's Saga somewhat fantasy-based historical erotic fiction? It's hard to tell, really. But anything of that nature is perfectly fine with me.
