SENSE8 FINALE SPECIAL TRAILER

Watching this trailer made me have all the emotions. Because we did this. We got this show back, at least in a two-hour wrap-up finale. It's bittersweet because it means it's the end, and I don't want it to be the end since this show deserves so many more seasons considering the story they've been telling only barely started to scratch the surface, but at the same time it's heartwarming knowing that this is such a rare thing to happen. Not many cancelled shows get the opportunity to conclude the story they were telling, especially like this. It's nothing short of miraculous and we should be absolutely thankful and proud of the amount of passionate dedication and determination this fandom had on creating as much noise as possible.

The finale movie will premiere June 8th on Netflix, but hopefully that doesn't mean it'll be the end of Sense8 as a whole. I know Lana Wachowski has been mentioning for a while the possibility of continuing the story and has already written a third season, and while I'm not getting my hopes up, the fact that this is even happening due to the overwhelming fan response demonstrates that anything is possible. So who knows what will happen after this? Hopefully the finale special will gain a lot of views/attention that it the possibility of another season could be on the horizon. But for the time being, I'm just happy that we're even getting this at all. ❤

It's such a rare thing to happen, honestly. We're very lucky to get this opportunity that not many shows get. And I do want more seasons, don't get me wrong, and I am still angry at Netflix for the fuckery they did so this doesn't negate that either, but this is something that will be satisfactory in terms of allowing a sense of closure, and I'm okay with that. :)

Yessssss. It's such a rare occurrence that it's always a huge delight when it does happen. So many shows never get closure. While Sense8 shouldn't have been cancelled, I'm glad that Netflix listened and that it got the chance to come back, finish the story even though it's not unfolding the way it was originally planned, and give everyone on all sides closure. I wish more networks would do this, so I cherish the times that we do get it. This show is close to my heart so I was heartbroken when it got cancelled and ecstatic when a series finale was announced.

My God, I had forgotten what total eye-candy and location porn this show is. They're going to the Amalfi coast?! Hell yes. (Hmmm didn't Kala go there on her honeymoon?) And Paris, of course.

Plus looks like there's going to be more all-group fight scenes, which I am here for.

Yaaaaay!!!! I'm so excited for this and I'm so glad they get a chance to wrap up the story. I'd love if this led to another season but if not the movie is still wonderful :)

This is something I honestly wish every cancelled show gets to have, a chance to actually conclude their story, especially ones that end on a cliffhanger. It's super rare to be given that opportunity since it never happens, so this is a huge blessing and a miracle. :)
