++ Another trailer for Jessica Jones season two was just released. I'm honestly so hyped up, and not just because it's been forever since the first season. Based on this trailer and what we've already known for months now, the second season is going to get more personal for Jessica as we explore her backstory, and just on all the information I know from interviews about this season it's gonna be good.

++ We have a new Deadpool 2 teaser featuring a first look at Cable, it's half the usual humor for these adverts and half quick snippets from the film without giving away any spoilers. Bless. I cannot wait for this film, which is to be released in May. Also, while most refer to it as Deadpool 2, I don't think the movie has an official title yet, unless it's just going to be called The Untitled Deadpool Sequel, which, let's face it, would be the most Deadpool thing to do, lol.

++ Wolverine: The Long Night is a scripted podcast series which has Richard Armitage playing Logan/Wolverine. The teaser gives a bit of what the podcast will sound like, the structure of how the story will go and the different voices, including Richard's Wolverine voice which is damn amazing. According to this interview they instantly knew that they wanted Richard to voice Wolverine because of the baritone of his voice and how he kind of embodies the characters entirely with her performance, which being a fan of his for a while now it's hardly surprising with how immersed he gets for roles, and this apparently was no exception. It just makes me happy with how many people there are who are excited with the idea of Richard being involved in their projects and even actively want him in them. While the podcast will be only exclusively available on Stitcher Premium when it first premieres, I've read that it'll be widely released later this year on other platforms, so you don't have to worry about only being accessible on one particular place. Regardless, this is a different kind of medium to tell more stories is interesting and, depending on how well this does, it can mean more Marvel stories of this type.

++ With all the news that's been coming out lately, I feel like Star Wars kind of wants to become the next MCU with having not only an anthology movies series planned, but also another movie series and several television shows on different streaming platforms, while the sequel trilogy hasn't even finished yet. I'm not entirely certain how I feel about all of this, to be honest, aside from feeling like all of this is just a senseless cash grab on the Star Wars popularity, which isn't a good thing and people will catch onto this, if they haven't already. This is why extending franchises like this is a bad idea, because the saturation will exhaust everyone, as it's happened with plenty of other film franchises over recent years that started off strong but fizzled out towards the end. A better strategy would be allow the sequel trilogy to finish and wait a while before wanting to do something else with that universe. Spacing things out in between has proven to work better to keep that excitement and anticipation without being too overwhelming with unnecessary things.

Oh, The Untitled Deadpool Sequel would make an awesome official title for Deadpool 2. ^__^

Have you seen the latest Bull episode?

That's been the title I've seen when searching for it, aside from just being called Deadpool 2, so idk if that is what they're actually going for, but it would be perfectly in sync with everything we know to be Deadpool, lol. ;)

To be honest, I'm a few episodes behind Bull. The moving really kind of messed up my show watching schedule. I plan on binging as soon as I can.

Of course, it always takes time to settle down properly. I hope things are going well.

It's listed on the Fox website as The Untitled Deadpool Sequel, and it's in the URL so it does seem like that might be the title. https://www.foxmovies.com/movies/untitled-deadpool-sequel I thought they were going to go with The Second Coming but apparently not!

I am curious about the Wolverine podcast. I'm glad that it's going to be on other platforms later on though.

Ah, that makes sense. Of course I wasn't certain, but knowing Deadpool I should've known that that's what it would've been, lol. XD

I'm also glad it'll be on other platforms eventually. I hate it when something is released but it is only exclusively on one particular platform that you have to subscribe to with no intention of being released anywhere else. It's incredibly limiting to those who cannot even accessible said sites. I was worried at first for this podcast, but relieved when they mentioned that it'll be available for wider audiences later, so that's good.

Yaaaay, I'm so ready for the next season of Jessica Jones. SO READY!

Same! I know she was in The Defenders, but it still feels like we haven't seen her in her element for so long. S1 premiered in 2015, so it truly has been years since we've seen Jessica in action in her own story and I seriously cannot wait.

And the Defenders was so terrible I mean I give zero fucks about Iron Fist and it felt like everybody was just there to try to make Danny look cooler. Nope.

I mean I enjoyed elements of it but as a whole nawwww....

It doesn't make much sense to limit your audience like that, especially given how popular Wolverine is. Although if they had decided to keep it just to that one site, I don't imagine that it would have stayed limited for very long, at least, not officially...

Yeah, I agree. There were parts of The Defenders I liked but as a whole the show really did just revolve around Danny Rand and The Hand, both who were boring and useless throughout the entire thing, and in the end nothing really progressed. I feel like there was a lot of wasted opportunity with The Defenders. It could've been much better than how it ended up to be, which is disappointing.

I love Star Wars, but I agree with you. It does seem like a cash grab, and in that case if they aren't making quality shows/movies eventually no one will care.

And the thing is people are starting to feel that fatigue already. We aren't stupid. Even if you love Star Wars there is no need for all this excessive product in a short amount of time, and people can tell the difference between someone who loves this universe and the story and wants to do right by it, and those who only want the publicity and make a quick buck.

I'm really interested in the podcast. I hope they'll move it to itunes later though. I don't have a stitcher premium account. Let me know if you enjoy it.

I'm hoping they will, too. It would be foolish to neglect anyone else from listening to the podcast by making it exclusive to one site only.

The Untitled Deadpool Sequel
That would be absolutely Deadpool-like. :D I am okay with this title, lmao. XD
Can't wait for the movie and for the second season of Jessica Jones. That was such a good series. <3

I have a couple of days off about a week before season two of Jessic Jones is released so that's my season one rewatch time :) SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The podcast sounds really neat. I'm glad it'll come out on other platforms eventually.

I like that all of the posters promoting the film don't even have any title featured, just images of Deadpool because, of course, we already know who it is and what movie it's going to be, lol. I just love the marketing for Deadpool in general, they are so great. ;D

Jessica Jones is such a gift, so amazing, I can't believe it's taken so long for us to get the second season since it first premiered. But nevertheless, I'm happy that we're getting it very soon!

S2 is so close and so far away right now I can almost see it already.

I think a lot of franchises want to be the next MCU now, but at least some of them (ie, DCU and DCTV) have sorta realized the difficulty of managing stuff in that scope. Even GoT isn't dumb enough to do that, and sticks to TV (other than GRRM keeps wanting to spout of new shows instead of finishing the actual series).

Plus, everyone seems to have kinda forgotten the whole Star Wars expanded universe that was retconned out of existence? Like literally, there's at least a decade of material that's already been in existence.

YAY! :D I'm probably going to do that too. I mean, I've already rewatched the first season plenty of times, but another one cannot hurt. ;)

Yeah, when I first read that it would be exclusive on one service when it premiered I was a little disappointed, until I read further that it'll be released later in the year on other platforms. Which was a relief. I'm very curious about this podcast, and not just because of Richard Armitage. Although that is a huge selling point for me, tbh.

I feel like whenever one particular franchise does something that was successful other franchises try to copy it, but most times end up failing by not understanding the formula to make it work. It happened when the HP films split up the last film into two, many other film franchises tried to do the same thing except it was unnecessary for most of them to do so, which did lead to some fatigue of their own. And it's happening now with people wanting to become the next MCU. SW is a league by itself in that it is successful without all this added films or series, so why they are trying so desperately to make as many movie franchises as possible in this universe is puzzling to me.

Yeah, that's what I wondering too. I'm not familiar with the Star Wars extended universe but I do know that, since The Force Awakens all of that has basically been retconned and there were a lot of reactions from the fanbase regarding that.

I'm hoping that it's good, too. I really want it to be worth the long wait. Though the fact that it'll be focusing on Jessica's origins of getting her powers, what it means for her growth as a character of understanding herself in that way, that we'll have a lot of Jessica and Trish scenes, and that the season has all women directors? It makes me super excited for what the season is going to bring us.

I can't wait for more Jessica Jones...it's the only Marvel show that I watched and loved on Netflix.

Yeah, same here. I liked Daredevil and Luke Cage well enough, but I connect with Jessica Jones a bit more. The first season was incredibly solid, and I'm hoping that the second season follows suit.
