I was surprised with tickets to an advanced screening of Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them! (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧

I've been feeling rather depressed since Tuesday (as has the rest of the world), so this was an excellent pick-me-up and silver lining to everything that has been happening lately. It was an unexpected surprise, but was definitely a pleasant and much needed one! This will also be my first ever experience attending any kind of advanced screening for anything. I'll probably write a brief reactionary post afterwards, but I'll wait until the movie has officially premiered for everyone on opening weekend to post my full review.

Thank you! I'm hoping it'll be good, too. Granted, my excitement has more to do with a particular actor involved than anything else (because I'm shallow and biased) but I am curious to how the story in the first movie will unfold nonetheless. Regardless, though, it'll be a nice escapism right now with everything going on. And it's pretty neat that I'm getting to see it a week in advance from when I was originally planning on seeing it! ;D
