Tonight on the Sci-Fi Channel there will be no Firefly, which will be postponed until next Friday because all week they've been doing the 13 Days of Halloween movie marathon. If you're like me and want to get spookified this weekend in preparation for Monday, then I highly recommend watching the Sci-Fi Channel. Or, you know, rent your own choice in scary movies; whatever tickles your fancy.

-♠- "Twitchy Little Ferret, Ain't Ya?": Over on The Leaky Cauldron there are 13 EXCLUSIVE clips from the Goblet of Fire movie, all in which have been converted to WMV (thankfully, for the original links weren't working properly). These clips are mostly the dialogue of the film, including Professor Mad-Eye Moody teaching DADA class, Harry clumsily asking Cho Chang to the Yule Ball, Harry at the Yule Ball, Hermione translating between Harry and Ron, and plenty more. Warning though, these are considered very spoilerish for the film -- if you plan on staying spoiler-free, then do not view these clips.

-♠- The Boy Who Lived...?: Daniel Radcliffe, the child actor who portrays Harry Potter in the movies, apparently wants Harry to die at the end of the book series. I have to say, I was skeptical at first because how reliable are these online sources anyway? Until the lovely [livejournal.com profile] taradiane posted the scanned article declaring its accuracy.

-♠- Well I'll Be Gorrammed, 'Tis Shiny!: Giganamous interview with Joss Whedon about the Fireflyverse and Serenity. Beware, spoilers abound. It's a wonderfully insightful look at Joss's response to many questions about this amazing universe that has become such a cult-following phenomenon.

-♠- Can't Stop The Signal...All Of Them: The Signal has updated with their #16 podcast episode; also Firefly Talk has their #2 podcast episode up now. Download, listen, support the Browncoat love of the fandom.

And for a random announcement -- I just recieved my Veronica Mars season one DVD in the mail this afternoon! Along with the Serenity Visual Companion, novelization, and score soundtrack. Yay!

Yep! There's a novelization for Serenity, the score soundtrack to the film, and the Visual Companion is basically information about the film including sketches and storyboards of scenes, many promotional pictures, as well as the original shooting script for the movie. There's also the comic books as prequels for the film. All in which are available on Amazon.com (which is where I recieved them from). Hee!

Supposedly there's a soundtrack to the Firefly series, although it's being distributed by FOX and it's not available to buy anywhere -- only to download somewhere in a non-MP3 format. Sucks, I know.

I hope your friend enjoys VMars! Hopefully she'll get hooked and love it as much as us -- you should mention that Joss Whedon adores the show, too. :)
