THIS LOOKS ABSOLUTELY FUCKING AMAZING. Not just visually with the cinematography (the shots are absolutely stunning, like holy shit) but also with with use of the color palette, which I am so utterly thankful for since that was my main worry initially if it was going to follow the other DCU movies in making it too dark and gritty to actually see anything, but thank fuck it doesn't seem to; it has a good mixture of the serious tone of the WWI grit and the vivid use of colors that pop out at other moments, from Diana in that bright blue dress to the bright outdoors to seeing the actual colors of her Wonder Woman outfit. Also, the action sequences? The fight scenes? LIKE WHAT. I AM SO HERE FOR ALL OF THAT AND FOR DIANA TO JUST FUCK SHIT UP. AND THEN THE "IS SHE WITH YOU?" THEME (A.K.A. THE NOW OFFICIAL WONDER WOMAN THEME) STARTED UP AT THE END. I AM SO READY AND HYPE FOR THIS.

Seriously though, this is such a huge deal because Wonder Woman is finally coming to the big screen after all this time, we have waited so long, so long. It honestly shouldn't have taken this long for any female superhero movie to have been made. But here we are, with Wonder Woman at the helm of hopefully more to come and opening that window for more opportunities for women superheroes to get their own movies and franchises, and it is going to be glorious.


Not only that, but we actually got our first look at Justice League, also featuring Wonder Woman as part of the team. I'll be honest, I'm mostly here because of Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman and Jason Momoa as Aquaman (seriously though, look at that man, he is all unff), but their version of Barry Allen is just as hilariously adorable as the television show's actor. Well done.

So many things are coming out from SDCC, but this is what I'm most hyped for.

I just really want it to do well. I mean, granted, we know it will considering that it's freaking Wonder Woman and she is not just an established character with a huge following but also already had her introduction in BvS (making the anticipation very big), but I sincerely want it to be both genuinely good and successful at the box office to warrant more sequels and for her to get her own damn movie franchise. I want women to rule the superhero box office in the near future, and I want Wonder Woman to lead that trend.

It really is though! I love that it's basically a period piece with Wonder Woman featured in it. It looks remarkable, with the colors and the cinematography and the fighting and just, ugh. I'm in love already. Gal Gadot already convinced us how amazing her Wonder Woman is in BvS, and now I'm ready to see what else she can bring to the role. GIVE IT TO ME NOW! *grabby hands*

I am not quite sure about the trailer but I'm still excited for the WW movie,just because we FINALLY get a female lead!!!
My hope is that the bits if levity in the trailer indicate that the movie itself won't be as grimdark as the other DC films before,I'm so over it *sigh*

Aquaman was my fave part of the JL trailer. Ever since they announced Jason Momoa's casting,I'm ridiculously excited for JL and his solo movie :D

I wasn't sure myself since the trailer starts off rather slowly, but then it gradually builds up to the action and now after several rewatchings I'm all excite! We're finally getting a female lead in a superhero movie, and it feels so good!

I'm hoping so too. I don't mind grimdark when used appropriately, but DC has been oversaturated with it that the trend seriously needs to stop, and I'm crossing my fingers that this does break that particular cycle. The use of colors in this trailer pleasantly surprised me, and I'm hoping it remains that way for the actual film when it comes out.

Jason Momoa is perfect for Aquaman. Like, just look at him. I also can't wait for his solo movie, either.

The WW trailer looks good and, as you said, finally colourful. I had a good laugh with the JL trailer, which was unexpected from the DC cinematic universe.

The trailer that had me the most excited was the Dr Strange one. I love the Inception style and I did not know my Khan (from Marco Polo) Benedict Wong was going to be in the movie.

I actually wasn't expecting some jokes and lighthearted moments from Justice League either, because DC doesn't often have that when they're all ~serious, but when you have characters like Barry Allen expect some lightheartedness moments. Plus the exchange between Diana and Bruce was pretty good, too.

I'm glad that you're excited about it, but honestly I'm not here Doctor Strange and their whitewashed nonsense, though. :/ I'll pass on that one.

I think because of the television show many see Grant Gustin as Barry Allen, and for anyone else to play the character is kind of strange, but he definitely has the correct mannerisms which make Barry so endearing. So we shall see how it turns out.

When I heard that Jason was cast as Aquaman I knew it was very fitting, but this further proves just how much I'm gonna love seeing him. I mean, he's not just gorgeous as fuck but he has that presence of power and I cannot imagine anyone else for this role that commands such attention to the screen. Hot damn.

We've literally waited decades for Wonder Woman to come out. I remember when it was first announced that they were thinking of doing a movie back in 2006 and it was in pre-development but it never went anywhere, and it has taken ten years for there to finally become a reality. I just cannot wait! :D

Unfortunately, I don't think we'll be getting a Black Widow movie anytime soon. Or at all. I know there's been mentions of it being considered, but it's just all talk with no follow-through. At least Captain Marvel will be getting her own solo movie soon, so there's that. Although imho, I feel like Natasha deserves her own television series than a movie, I think her story would fit much better in that medium.

Personally, I would love for there to be a Netflix series focusing on a young Natasha and her origins in the Black Widow program. Scarlett would probably not be interested or available for any appearances, sadly, but cast someone else as a younger Natasha and it would be perfect. It would be much better exploring her character. :)

I'm the same, but honestly? I'm not holding my breath when it comes to Marvel delivering with Black Widow, even after all the buzz and people actively wanting her to have her own damn movie by now. At this point, I feel like we would be much better off with a television series of Natasha's origins, which would be more appropriate imho. And even if they do manage to greenlight her a movie, it probably won't happen until a decade from now considering the lineup they already have (and even then, it'll probably be pushed back like they did with Captain Marvel). Ugh.

The trailer looks fun. It seems that the movie won't be as dark as other DC movies - it'll be such a nice change and I love it! It's really great to finally have a superhero movie with a female lead :D

I'm hoping it'll be a turnaround from not just the desaturation of DC films we've been seeing lately, but also that they will start to be having fun with the stories. No more unnecessary grimdark, but actually being an entertaining kind of film. I really want this to be good, I really do, because this is Wonder Woman and it's been a long time coming and she deserves a decent first feature film to setup everything else.

Also, I'm very interested with what Justice League will do with her character, as well. That also seems less serious in tone as BvS was.

Seriously, they better give us something good. We have not only waited decades for a Wonder Woman movie, but we have also waited far too long for a successful good woman-centric superhero movie. We remember the atrocities of Elektra and Catwoman, which unfortunately stalled any further attempts of woman-led superheroes movies. DC hasn't been impressing me with their movies lately, but I'm going to repeat the mantra that many have been saying, "please don't suck, please don't suck, please don't suck!"

I didn't bother with BvS because, aside from Wonder Woman's appearance (which she had very little screentime as it was), I wasn't at all interested in seeing it. I'm not a DC person. I know fuck all about any DC properties, aside from the TV shows. I still haven't seen BvS(but I will, because WONDER WOMAN).

But holy FUCK I am EXCITED FOR THIS. I've been excited since it was announced, and then got excited again when I saw pics from filming and now this is SO AMAZING I'm SO HAPPY.

And pretty pissed that my precious Marvel still hasn't given me my Black Widow movie yet but DC can get their shit together for Wonder Woman. Their loss, but our win. I know WW is going to make BANK and will hopefully absolutely show Marvel that not only will women make money but they'll break records *fingers crossed*

I'm just so excited that we're finally getting Wonder Woman, after all this time, and I know it's too early to tell or to judge but the trailer got me so hype for it. I really want it to be good and for it to do well.

Sadly, even if Wonder Woman does prove that women superhero solo films can succeed and there is serious demand for them and that people will see them, I doubt Marvel will budge for a Black Widow movie. If they do, it'll probably be about a decade down the line and probably might be pushed back even further because of whatever they decide to add to the lineup in the near future (like they did with Captain Marvel and Black Panther for yet another Spider-Man movie). It's really shitty that after being in practically five movies, Natasha has yet to get her own solo movie when she rightfully deserves it. If anything though, I would personally prefer her to have a series on Netflix which can allow her story to be told. But that's just me.

YES. OMG YES, I want this so bad. Mostly because I find her character so utterly fascinating, and Elizabeth Olsen can definitely be given her own solo project, whether it's a film or a television series in expanding Wanda's arc. I'm very curious about everything she's going through, her psychological and emotional state with her powers, with the loss of her brother, etc.
