++ Apparently not only has Tricia Helfer been cast in the second season of Lucifer (a show I haven't seen but have heard that it's pretty good), but also it has been recently announced that Tom Felton has been cast as a regular for the third season of The Flash (another show on my queue) and Carly Pope has been cast in the next season of Arrow (carlyinrome, this will definitely interest you). I love all these actors and they aren't nearly in enough stuff, so seeing them cast in these shows, whether I watch them or not, is pretty damn exciting to me.

++ The official trailer for Dirty 30 has finally arrived. The film itself stars the Holy Trinity themselves, Grace Helbig, Hannah Hart and Mamrie Hart, and will feature a ton of different YouTubers and other online content creators. I, personally, really adore these girls and the things they produce. From Camp Takota to Electra Woman & Dyna Girl to this, they're having fun, working with friends, also very passionate and dedicated about the things they partake in.

++ Speaking of, does anyone remember lonelygirl15? This is going back way during the beginnings of YouTube when vlogging was still a new thing. Most likely people will remember how it was exposed early on that her vlogs weren't real, it was all scripted in what would become an ongoing webseries. Like, it was a big fucking deal back then when this was revealed. Although I knew of it I actually never watched the videos before, so I started binging watching them and while ago, and holy shit you guys. Even though knowing it's a scripted series, especially with all the editing and effects later on, just seeing how they put it together and how events start unraveling, it's quite impressive particularly for the time it came out. I'm not gonna lie, I got myself captivated. And what's even better? It has recently updated again, with the same actress.

I'm actually hoping that this means a new generation of this webseries is going to happen, after all these years. Though in my opinion, I like the story concept a lot that I feel like it would make for a great digital movie, with the same people who were involved, with the same actress either being the ringleader for the newer generation. The new video uploaded kind of gives that feel that they're getting ready for something to that effect.

Wait what? Tom Felton's going to be on the Flash S3. I am excited and somewhat confused as to what that's going to be like.

I don't know what it is about this show but I always find it jarring when actors I instinctively recognize from other things appear on it (it happened with Alison Paige aka Gigi from LBD when she was here for an ep).

I remember lonelygirl15! I discovered her after the controversy had started and watched a few episodes. There was a funny one about Pluto. Vloggers aren't really my thing though, and weren't then, so I wasn't really into the mystery. It's such a cool thing to look back on though, it was dynamite when the reveal happened. I can't believe they updated! I thought she was killed off??!

Lucifer is surprisingly good so I'm pretty stoked Tricia Helfer is gonna be in it! Yas. Also Tom Felton being in the Flash totally took me by surprise but I am glad nevertheless. I wonder what accent he's gonna have. Holy shit, just thinking about it excites me.

I'm rather curious myself as to what his character will be like, as well, and I'm wondering whether he'll have his own British accent, an American one, or something else entirely. We shall see.

That's basically my philosophy, I'll watch anything my favorite actor is in regardless whether it's bad or not.

In all seriousness though, it's rather subjective. IMHO, Arrow started off good but unfortunately it has declined a lot in quality in the later seasons. I stopped watching once they killed off my favorite character in the beginning of the third season (she got resurrected in the next season and is now on another spin-off show, but still), and the show recently got a lot of backlash for killing off a popular character who was just beginning her journey. Sadly, the show has issues with handling women characters. Not that this should discourage you from checking out Carly's episodes, I'm just letting you know what the show has been like.

That's what I keep hearing, which isn't that surprising since a lot of newer shows sometimes start off slow before finding their rhythm somewhere mid-season. So that'll be another show to check out whenever I get the chance to. :)

It's just so wild looking back on the controversy now, and how it affected the entirety of the YouTube community since, because after the reveal almost every vlogger on the site was scrutinized and accused of being fake just like lonelygirl15 when, in fact, the majority of them weren't. Nowadays, due to the higher production value of Vloggers/YouTubers in general, there's a different kind of accusation and judgment, but it still derives from that initial controversy, I think.

That's what I thought too! But perhaps they're adding more to the story? Doing something else with it? I don't know. I actually haven't finished all of the first season of their series (because even though I was binge-watching there were a lot of videos to go through), but I do know that her character does eventually go through the ceremony and was killed, mostly because the actress didn't renew her contract for another season.

Lucifer is actually a lot of fun. When I first heard about it, I didn't think it was going to do well. But the cast has great chemistry together.

Tom Felton coming to The Flash was a surprise, but I'm curious to see how he fits in. I've only seen him in one movie since Harry Potter.

I've been hearing that Luciufer actually gets much better mid-season, which is sometimes the case for new shows where they can some time to find their footing and rhythm. But overall, I've heard positive things about the show. It wasn't on my radar because the previews for it looked rather generic, but I might give it a chance.

And of course I've seen Ascension. I'm really sad that it didn't get picked up for a full series order, though. I felt like it would've been fascinating to see.

I'm also wondering if he'll keep his accent as well, or whether he'll be doing an American one. Either way, I'm pretty excited about this news! I'm especially excited because they're doing the massive crossover with all the DC shows on the CW, so I wonder if he'll be a part of that as well. :D

Yeah, when I first heard about it and saw the previews it didn't necessarily interest me all that much, it seemed rather generic, but then after the first season ended I heard many people saying that it was amazing. I've also seen gifsets of the show where Lucifer being rather socially awkward around an affectionate little girl. That, alone, is adorable.

I've seen Tom in numerous of things since Harry Potter, though I don't think he's done much television. He was a regular on the first season of Murder in the First, but that was about it that I can remember, particular on US television. So this news about him being cast in The Flash is such a pleasant surprise. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing him in it, for sure.

THAT WAS MY REACTION ABOUT TOM! :DDDD I know he's been working on a variety of things, usually films, but I never thought he would do something on the CW. It should be interesting seeing how he does!

I've only ever seen Carly in Popular on the WB and some other television movie around the same time way back when, so seeing her back on my screen will be amazing. :)
