The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 Official Trailer

While the last book certainly wasn't my favorite, I'm pretty excited to see how the film does in concluding the story, since the films in general have been an enhancement and slight improvement from my own reading experience, just from the overall perspective of the world, the politics involved and other characters (even though there could still be improvements, but I digress). And I'm curious to see how this final one does, with how certain scenes are done and the emotional impact it will have on the audience.

Lost Girl Season 5.2 Teaser

I'll admit, this season of Lost Girl has left me incredibly underwhelmed and it's unfortunate that it's the last one. But damn, if this teaser doesn't get me all bittersweet about the whole thing. Though I'll be honest, I mostly care about what happens with Tamsin and Kenzi.

Lost Girl: Finally! \o/ Though I'm a bit annoyed that they put it in September, when tons of shows will be back. I have time to watch it NOW.

Yeah, I'm really confused with the whole long hiatus thing since where they left off midseason. Were they not done filming when the first half of the season was airing? And why the long wait now? IDEK.

I have no idea. They didn't do that with Season 2, which was longer, so it was all very surprising, especially considering they never said until now (to my knowledge) when the show'd be back.

I don't think they ever said when it would be back until very recently, either. All that we knew was that it would be back at some point over the next year or so. Of course it makes me wonder because in the preview Kenzi has blonde hair now, which is what Ksenia is having her hair recently with her other projects that she's been in, so I'm assuming that after she left early S5 they waited so she could return to film the rest of the season with her? Maybe? Idk.

That's my plan, as well. I'm going to wait and see how it ends before deciding whether it's worth my time watching, so I can just pretend that certain events didn't happen and remain oblivious to the actual canon ending and substitute my own, much like I did with WH13.

The trailer gives the appearance of a bittersweet ending so I don't know If I want to watch.

Also, last season was disappointing so I don't know if should even bother watching.

Season four was such a disaster, a huge disappointment for what they were leading up to. I had hopes that the fifth season would at least be somewhat better, it being the final season, but sadly it doesn't seem to be getting the memo. Aside from the ridiculous tired love triangle that is unnecessary at this stage of the show, the plot seems to have gotten even more convoluted by bringing in more characters and acting like this is just another season instead of the last where shit should be wrapped up instead of adding more arcs than needed, you know?

I don't know. I loved this show when it first started, the first three seasons were top notch entertainment, then I don't know what happened. It's like it got too big and they just didn't know where to go from there. I want the ending to at least be satisfactory, but I'm apprehensive on whether or not they will deliver.

My love for the THG films is mimicking how I went through the books. I LOVED the first two books/films.. and I have yet to watch Part 1! I actually got it for my birthday like 2 months ago and haven't watched it. But I remember the book was something that took me AGES to commit to.. just so I could hate the ending with every fiery fiber of my being. :( But I'd like to watch it so I can enjoy the last one in theaters with my friends.

I'm still not finished catching on with LG since I'm watching with a friend. But my biggest concern is Tamsin ending up happy and it's hard to do when ALL I CAN DO IS FEAR FOR HER LIFE. Sigh.

I just rewatched Mockingjay part 1 last night with my mother-in-law and noticed two things: 1) I liked it better than I did when I saw it in the theater, because I knew the parts I was most looking forward to (Finnick and Katniss' friendship and his big reveal) were either sidelined or not there at all, and 2) I no longer like Effie because of the way she was built up at the expense of my boy. Okay and possibly because of the Effie/Haymitch shippers, because OMG just no. :P

That being said, I am ridiculously excited (and dreading) MJ2. I'll probably need to see it by myself so I don't embarrass my husband. :D
