I've seen these floating around everywhere and figured, eh, why not? I'm also snagging weaselett's idea of combining the two character memes into one, simply because it's easier.

Pick any character from a fandom of mine (or two or three) and I'll answer the following questions:

MONA VANDERWAAL

01. What is your opinion of this character? If you like, explain why you like him/her. I ADORE EVERYTHING ABOUT HER. Just, everything surrounding Mona makes me rather excited that her character even exists, you know? She's such a heavily complex character, with so much to her that I never want the show to stop revealing those aspects about her. From her involvement to her friendships and rivalries and schemes and just, ugh, everything. Mona Vanderwaal is one of my favorite characters on this show.
02. Is he/she important to the general plot? Absolutely. She became an integral part of the show in the second season, for sure, and has been amongst the grand scheme of things ever since.
03. Can you relate to this character at all? Does he/she grip you emotionally? Certain aspects of her I can connect with, such as being the outcast in school and that feeling of losing a friend to another crowd. Emotionally, I am quite invested with her character, so much that when the mid-season finale happened I was completely heartbroken.
04. How much do you like the fandom that this character comes from? Aside from a few blogs I follow, I don't go that deep into the Pretty Little Liars fandom.
05. Do you ship this character with any other character? Or, are you particularly intrigued by his/her relationship with any other character(s)? (romance-wise or platonic) I have and will always adore Mona and Hanna's friendship. And yeah, perhaps I kinda ship them a little as well, but mostly their friendship. I'm also fascinated by the antagonistic nature between her and Alison, because I feel that no matter what Mona and Alison will never be civil or be friends. And I do have a soft spot for Mona/Mike, since I do think she genuinely has feelings for him and vice versa. In general, I am intrigued with Mona's relations with the rest of the girls.
06. Is there anything about the character you would change? Nope. She's amazing as is.
07. If you were in the fandom with this character or knew this character in real life, how would you see yourself interacting with him/her? Would you get along well? Fall in love with him/her? Dislike? Have a friendly rivalry? Wow, I'm honestly not sure. I would like to think I would befriend her, especially during her earlier "Loser Mona" days. I think it would've been interesting to know her back then, similar to how Hanna knew her. Granted Mona will still be Mona, devious genius mastermind and all, and no doubt there would be some deep fascination with that part of her.
08. Does this character make the cut as one of your all time favorites (if you like) or least favorites? She's definitely high ranking of favorite characters on this show, for sure.
09. Would you hype up this character (if you like) or warn about this character (if you dislike) to someone new to fandom? Totally hype her up. She is fantastic, and her importance to the overall show is essential.

My unpopular opinion about this character: I don't mind that it was revealed that she was still alive? I know that some think the fake-out was unnecessary and a complete trolling effort (which it was, I'm not gonna lie it totally was a psych, gotcha!), but I don't care. Mona being alive is better than no Mona at all, imho.
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: I really want more Mona and Spencer scenes, because their genius match and rival each other and I like the idea of them teaming up more often.

My OTP: I don't think I have a definitive OTP for Mona, aside from Mona/being alive.

My cross over ship: I sort of want to see how Mona and Emily Thorne would be together. Like, can you imagine? The combination of genius mastermind planning and scheming, it would be glorious.
