I've seen these floating around everywhere and figured, eh, why not? I'm also snagging weaselett's idea of combining the two character memes into one, simply because it's easier.

Pick any character from a fandom of mine (or two or three) and I'll answer the following questions:

Karl Agathon (Helo) & Hale (Lost Girl)

KARL "HELO" AGATHON

01. What is your opinion of this character? If you like, explain why you like him/her. Ah, Helo. I love him. He's practically the moral compass character amongst everyone else. He has a heart of gold, is compassionate and always tries to do the right thing, even if sometimes it doesn't go as planned. I love how protective he is of Athena and his daughter, and how he's willing to sacrifice a lot in order for them to be safe.
02. Is he/she important to the general plot? Yes. Most of the characters on this show are important to the main plot of the show, but since Helo is the father if Hera, who becomes an essential asset to the plot, he of course is instrumental to everything.
03. Can you relate to this character at all? Does he/she grip you emotionally? Oh man, I began getting emotionally attached to Helo immediately once he and Athena got together. He cared for her so much and defended her against those who hated her/wanted to harm her. That made me absolutely love him and I wanted both he and Athena (and Hera) to survive and be okay in the end. Which thankfully, they were.
04. How much do you like the fandom that this character comes from? Oh boy, I had some interesting times with the BSG fandom when it was still widely active. I liked it well enough and made some amazing friends from it for sure, but like all fandoms there were some bad apple moments and drama that occurred (esp towards the end of the show) that I kindly stayed away from.
05. Do you ship this character with any other character? Or, are you particularly intrigued by his/her relationship with any other character(s)? (romance-wise or platonic) Helo/Athena = OTP forever. ♥ As for platonic relationships, I adored Helo's friendship with Kara, for what we saw of it throughout the show.
06. Is there anything about the character you would change? I think I would've discarded that scene between him and Boomer in the fourth season, even though it was without his knowledge it kind of broke my heart and it slightly puzzled me that he didn't realize that Boomer wasn't Athena. I know there's arguments about because Athena had downloaded into a new body to get Hera back she didn't have all the scars and whatnot from her old body, but still.
07. If you were in the fandom with this character or knew this character in real life, how would you see yourself interacting with him/her? Would you get along well? Fall in love with him/her? Dislike? Have a friendly rivalry? I'm positive we would get along. Especially since I love Athena and the Cylons, so there would be someone in his corner when it came to defending his wife and his child.
08. Does this character make the cut as one of your all time favorites (if you like) or least favorites? Surely one of my favorites.
09. Would you hype up this character (if you like) or warn about this character (if you dislike) to someone new to fandom? Hype him up.

My non-romantic OTP for this character: Helo/Kara. I loved that they're both in each other's corners, and I do wish we could've seen more of the BFFness on the show.
My unpopular opinion about this character: I'm not sure what the unpopular opinion of him would be today, but I remember when the show was airing some found his character dull and boring and I'm like, uh, no? He's amazing and loyal and trustworthy. Perhaps a bit too trusting at times, but you know, live and learn.
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: More scenes with Kara, pls. I also would've liked a reunion with Boomer that wasn't a manipulation of misleading identities.

HALE

01. What is your opinion of this character? If you like, explain why you like him/her. I liked Hale. I enjoyed seeing his character on the show and what he added to things.
02. Is he/she important to the general plot? I would say yeah, he was in a sense.
03. Can you relate to this character at all? Does he/she grip you emotionally? Aside from our mutual love of I wouldn't say I related to him. But his fate I certainly was slightly emotionally scarred by, because it literally came out of nowhere and left me in kind of a state of disbelief.
04. How much do you like the fandom that this character comes from? I like it well enough.
05. Do you ship this character with any other character? Or, are you particularly intrigued by his/her relationship with any other character(s)? (romance-wise or platonic) Well, I have shipped Hale/Kenzi, though honestly I prefer my fanon version since canonically when they did finally get together it was rather rushed and mishandled in certain ways, unfortunately. But I still headcanon that relationship regardless. Other than that, his friendship with Dyson was something I loved and have truly missed on the show.
06. Is there anything about the character you would change? Aside from not having him be dead, I would kind of stop him from being slightly insensitive at times, especially when he called up Kenzi's family (in order to get her mother's blessing for a marriage proposal) despite knowing that Kenzi ran away from home for a reason. There were things like that which, in hindsight, irked me about his personality a bit. Also, I wanted more explanation about certain things about his character before he died, like they claim he knew what was going to happen, but we saw nothing leading up to that? What about his ear bleeding from that one episode that had nothing to do with his death? What was happening there? So many unanswered questions that I know will never be answered because his character won't be coming back (which I still see as bullshit).
07. If you were in the fandom with this character or knew this character in real life, how would you see yourself interacting with him/her? Would you get along well? Fall in love with him/her? Dislike? Have a friendly rivalry? I don't know. I would say we'd be casual acquaintances, if nothing else. I mean, the friendship Kenzi shared with him earlier in the show is something I liked and would also emulate.
08. Does this character make the cut as one of your all time favorites (if you like) or least favorites? He wasn't a favorite, but I liked him.
09. Would you hype up this character (if you like) or warn about this character (if you dislike) to someone new to fandom? Yeah sure I'd hype him up.

My non-romantic OTP for this character: Hale/Dyson
My unpopular opinion about this character: I don't like the way he was with his relationship with Kenzi, as brief as that relationship was featured on the show. I like them together, but I don't think the show really understood how to make that chemistry work inside of an actual romantic relationship between the two, if that makes any sense. Idk. Does that make sense? Again, I preferred their friendship and the fanon version of them rather than how canon dealt with it.
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: I want to know if we'll ever be seeing Hale again, even just a flash of him in Valhalla. I wished that the show had considered taking Kenzi and Hale's relationship seriously (as in actually showing them being coupley) and not rushing into things like they did.
