Top 5 movies?

This is much harder than with television shows, because unless it's breaking it down into a specific genre of I usually lump movies into one pile of "yes, I like it, will rewatch over and over" and that's that.

I mean, the only movie that I have been obsessing over recently has been The Hobbit films, specifically The Desolation of Smaug since I utterly fell in love with the entire thing and never wanted it to end. (◕‿◕✿) And when I say obsession, I truly do mean that in the LET ME TELL YOU ALL ABOUT HOW MUCH I LOVE THESE FILMS AND THIS UNIVERSE kind of way, and have been this way for pretty much two years now. So yeah, these films are my top films at the moment.

With everything else, that's much trickier to break down.

Like, I love a lot of the girls kicking ass and taking names kinds of films, such as Resident Evil, Sucker Punch, Tomb Raider, etc. These kinds of films don't necessarily have to be good by critics standards, but if it has women being in charge and is entertaining for me, then I'm all in. Then there's the horror films, which I plan on making a separate post later due to it being Halloween and all. And then there are the childhood favorites, which is where I get serious nostalgia after revisiting them from the vault. The Neverending Story, The Dark Crystal, The Sound of Music, Don Bluth movies, pretty much everything from the Disney Renaissance, and so on.
