An alternate reality to start off the fourth season premiere. Nice.
I liked the change in not jumping immediately to where Bo went to, in fact she hardly appeared in the episode at all, save a flashback and a little flash of her as characters were kinda sorta remembering her face. But otherwise, it was practically Bo-less which, although I missed her face and presence, was kind of interesting. Like, the erasure of her existence from their memories created an alternate reality for each character, making sure that nobody would ever know that Bo had gone missing and they wouldn't try and look for her.
The question remains, though, is how long Bo has been missing. It could have been days, weeks, months even, or it could have simply just been several hours. In the Fae world anything is possible.
While with all the interesting and cray shenanigans that went down (Dyson and Kenzi hooking up, Vex being the new Morrigan, Kenzi getting temporary Fae powers to help disguise herself as not being human, etc.), with the effects of them regaining their memories we have bigger issues to deal with. Like, what is going to happen to Trick now that he's been confronted with Bo's mom? What is hidden in that box/crate thing that has now come out? New season big bad? Or something connected to Bo and where she is, or what her father has in store? Where is Tamsin? So many questions, and we have the rest of the season to see how it plays out.
My favorite parts of this episode definitely has to be: Kenzi showing off her flashy powers + her usual amounts of sass going on, Kenzi/Dyson making out because come on that shit was hot, and last but not least that holy fuckballs that was amazing Dyson/Kenzi/Hale tango dance.
Overall, interesting start to what I'm hoping to be a kickass season.
