Doctor Who 7.02 "Dinosaurs on a Spaceship"
OKAY SO THIS HAPPENED:

AND IT MAKES ME ALL KINDS OF HAPPY. JUST BLESS THIS SHOW. ♥
I also adore Rory's dad. He was nearly precisely how I imagined how his father would be like, the mannerisms and quirkiness, it all meshed very well and I loved his interactions with the Doctor and being confused yet adapting to his surroundings of accidentally being transported on an adventure with his son and daughter-in-law with their time traveling friend. I wish stuff like this would happen more often, bring in some family members of the Ponds for random wacky adventures, if only to extend the family some more. It makes me sad because this is nearing the end of the Pond era and it makes me wish we had more time to explore these options, you know?
Speaking of which, the most heartbreaking moment of the episode was the talk between Amy and the Doctor.
There seems to be a lot of foreshadowing going on here, in more ways than one. Not just of them maturing apart from the TARDIS while still managing to worry about their friend regardless, but also of their inevitable departure. The Doctor knows that the time will eventually come, but Amy makes the crack and even though it's to lighten the mood it hits him like a freight train. The Ponds, his Ponds, his family and friends, won't always be there forever, and even though he wants them to remain by his side always on the TARDIS having adventures that can't ever happen if he wants to keep them safe, away from harm. It's why he let them go in the first place. He cares about them too much to see that happen again to any more of his Companions. But just hearing and seeing where this is all leading to still breaks my heart nonetheless.
I'm also taking all this foreshadowing as a sign that my predictions of their farewell might just become a reality.
Aside from all of that, Rory's father was awesome, Nefertiti was amazing and kickass, same with Amy and her fangirling Nefertiti, it was nice to see Rupert Graves, and dinosaurs gives me feels. Other than that, not much else to say about the episode other than it was rather random, but still enjoyable nonetheless.
