Gabriel

01. I still maintain the opinion that the revelation of him being the angel Gabriel is one of the best retcons the show ever did, and the only one that ever made sense.

02. Not expanding his character -- exploring his relationships with his brothers and sisters in Heaven, with Castiel, with Lucifer -- is one of the biggest mistakes the show ever did. The fact there was so much richness with his character after that reveal of him being an angel, there should have been more involvement of him. Needless to say, after the way they've treated Castiel over the last two seasons, I'm kind of glad of the outcome for Gabriel. I wouldn't want the show to cheapen his death.

03. I like the idea of Sam/Gabriel. I haven't read any fics with them (some are vastly OOC) but I like the idea of them.
