Hawaii Five-0 2.18 "Lekio"
James Caan is perhaps the best guest appearance the show has ever gotten, and I say this because just the dynamic between him and everyone was amazing. There was snark, hilarity, and above all adorableness. I swear, a part of me wants him to become a recurring role because can you imagine? Never mind I bet Scott would love to see his father every once in a while as he's filming. I just loved every second of his screen time, the chemistry he had with everybody, and I love that ending scene with his character, Steve and Danny, all just chilling eating pizza. What a perfect way of ending an episode, eh? The perfect definition of ohana which the show has gotten back to. Love it.
HE ALSO APPROVES OF THE MCDANNO WHICH FILLED ME WITH SO MUCH GLEE. THERE WERE MANY MOMENTS IN THIS EPISODE, MANY LITTLE THINGS I LOVED BUT THAT ENDING SCENE WITH HIM TELLING STEVE AND DANNY THAT HE WANTS TO BE THEIR "MARRIAGE COUNSELOR"?? HOLY SHIT WHUT THAT MADE MY NIGHT TBH. I MEAN YES THERE WAS THE CARGUMENTS AND THE USUAL STUFF BUT WHEN YOU ADD THAT. SHIT SHOW. CAN YOU MAKE THEM ANYMORE FUCKING CANON? AND THEN WITH THE ADORABLE HUG BETWEEN THE THREE OF THEM ASDKFJ;LAJS;FKLASFD I LITERALLY CAN'T OKAY.

Now this is how many times the show has referred to Steve and Danny as being a married couple? :D :D :D :D :DDDDD
Oh, and FOOTSIES. Not actually literally (I would haved ~died if that really happened tbh) but close enough with Danny being all barefoot and Steve being all barefoot next to him like that.
And did I mentioned Danny being all adorable with Grace at the beginning? With him going into protective!dad mode and Steve being concerned over his concern over Grace and this boy. Although mind you, I can understand Danny's concern, and not just on a parent level but remember that Grace had recently been kidnapped so his protectiveness probably is more than normal, which I'm sure Steve understands this -- he's just concerned over Danny concealed his inner emotions like that and stressing out every single time without talking to him first, something I find very sweet and endearing because hey, partners, and Steve is clearly deeply in love with Danny but that's an obvious duh.
I just....love all their moments, okay? Add James Caan into the mix and it's a party. That last scene felt so natural with all three of them bonding like that, I couldn't help but smile. ♥ ♥ ♥
