DAN & BLAIR





What should be considered as the new Joey/Pacey, Dan/Blair is completely and utterly the most adorable thing to ever happen on this show. Gossip Girl has been made of fail for many seasons now, from destroying characterizations to trying too hard with its pointless scandals for ~shock value~ and making characters who were once likeable turn into complete self-righteous assholes. But when it comes to the chemistry between Blair Waldorf and Dan Humphrey, they are the only worthwhile aspect of the show anymore. Even people who don't watch the show are in love with these two, and rightfully so. Even the show producers themselves have admitted that they have been wanting Dan and Blair to get together, romantically or in a platonic sense, ever since the first season. And truth be told, their development has been the best the show has ever done, slowly and carefully built up from a friendship and it has blossomed into something more beautiful.

But of course this is Gossip Girl, and what is deemed beautiful they will destroy because they are all about the ridiculous ~scandals and preventing any kind of happiness from these characters (that whole tape thing is the dumbest thing ever and all meant for that very purpose, tbqh) -- one can only hope the two become endgame because, after everything they've been through and discovered together, being there for each other and only wanting the other to be happy no matter what, they deserve that happiness together. *crosses fingers*


BRITTANY & SANTANA





SWEET SWEET BRITTANA LADY KISSES! ♥

Glee is quite a problematic show for many countless reasons, from butchering characterizations and lacking in continuity to the sexism, racism, and even homophobia despite claiming to be "progressive" with the LGBTQ movement. However in last night's Valentine's Day episode there was finally some lesbian-positivity happening. Santana is brave and courageous, calling out their principal about the double standards at their school when someone complained about them showing affection in public, proudly exclaims that Brittany is her girlfriend ("not my friend who is a girl, but my girlfriend girlfriend.") leading to her having a song dedicated to her girlfriend at the dance. Not just that, but there were many adorably sweet and tender moments between Brittany and Santana, holding hands, embracing each other, the looks and glances, just them being together. Oh, and kissing. Lots and lots of kissing. Originally afraid they were just going to "peck" and call that a kiss, they had a variety of kissing moments, the pecks, the lingering kisses, kissing on the hands, etc. ♥

I am kind of disappointed that we didn't get a massive making out scene like Kurt and Blaine did with their first kiss, especially everything we've built up to Santana and Brittany being together like this (double standards, again, with this show...) But the cute little moments they shared throughout kind of make up for it. Kind of. I don't bother with this show but I'm hoping they get to massive making out sessions between these two later on.

I mean, if Pretty Little Liars can have Emily making out with various girls why can't Brittany and Santana do this as well?

Nevertheless, it was all about Brittana and nothing hurt. ♥ ♥ ♥


I may hate the shows but dammit, I can't resist these ships. They are both too adorable to ignore, and it pings my fangirl button. Interestingly I'm not the only one, so that's good, lol.

On a related note while we're on a roll here, it's my only wish that, after his return, Castiel and Dean finally get their goddamn hug. Like a real genuine, heartfelt hug between the two of them that speaks more volumes than words ever could. One that says ~omg you're alive/I've missed you/never leave me again/I love you, you sonofabitch~ and then some, you know? After all the bullshit the show has done, they fucking deserve that more than anything. Hearing Jensen talking about things, it sounds like he may as well be on the same boat, also. I'm just saying, it would be a fucking miracle of miracles to get that hug between them. They owe us that much.

This makes me want to watch Gossip Girl again. I remember shipping Dan/Blair back in season one when it was good but thinking it would never ever happen. I swear to God if Blair ends up with the guy whose name rhymes with fuck...

Oh Glee I don't even know how to feel about you anymore oh, wait I do. Most of these feelings are angry ones. Good on them for including some Britney/Santana at least. It's about time.

Definitely look up all the Dan/Blair clips on YouTube. Seriously, you won't regret it. The show is practically shit now, but they are good thing left, to be honest. Everything they've done with them from the build up with their friendship to them finally kissing for real, it's like the only thing worth watching. They have such amazing chemistry, it's phenomenal. I love watching their scenes together.

Chuck needs to die in a fire. Why anyone would be wanting Blair to go back to Chuck -- the guy who sold her for a hotel, who acted violently and punched a glass window near her head and got her cut because she dared look at someone else but him, who practically demands that she be his and nobody else's or else -- is beyond me. It's advocating abusive behavior, abusive relationships, and Blair is so above that. She doesn't deserve to be treated like that.

Blair deserves someone who respects her as a human being and not some lust object. So far, Dan has been the only person in her life who has been doing that exactly. He only wants to see her happy, and vice vera.

TL;DR -- I can write an entire essay on why Blair and Dan deserve to be happy together, why they should be endgame. I just love them, as you can tell. :)

It's in my opinion that they need to cancel Glee and just make a spin-off with The Troubletones, where it focuses primarily on the ladies. And Ryan Murphy is not allowed to be involved whatsoever.

I think I may burst with happiness if Dean and Cas ever hug. ;___; Or just grasp each other's hands or stare longingly (no wait they already do that) at each other or just exist in the same space. But yes, a hug. They need one. We need one.

It's long overdue. The fact that the show even made a "joke" about someone hugging Castiel for shits and giggles of it being "awkward" really made me angry, like why the fuck not? Everyone else got a goddamn hug, why not Cas? Why purposefully shun him like they were attempting to do? :(

This is a chance for them to redeem themselves. Give us a hug, that is all we're asking.
