I received your Christmas card [livejournal.com profile] lynnylou, thank you. I also got yours too, [livejournal.com profile] xlamentcasx! Your homemade card and message was adorable, made me smile and laugh. ♥

I have yet to send out my cards, which I feel horrible about but things have been quite hectic for me with organizing and getting things prepared and dealing with the crazy holiday madness that I haven't had the time to properly sit down and write in the cards. I'm hoping to do so today and get them sent by tomorrow. I have no idea when they'll be arriving to you guys, might be on or past Christmas.

Anyway, here is a meme for distraction:
Pick a fandom or a topic and I'll share some unpopular opinions.
My fandoms (new and old): Doctor Who, Supernatural, Battlestar Galactica, Caprica, Warehouse 13, Harry Potter, Pretty Little Liars, Hawaii Five-0, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Firefly, Dollhouse, Dark Angel, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Veronica Mars, The Hunger Games (only book one), Sucker Punch, Wizards Of Waverly Place, Legend of the Seeker....yeah, I pretty much have a shitload of fandoms, interestingly enough. And the list just keeps on growing so, any fandom that you know I have participated in, or any kind of fandom-related subject at all (ex. fanfic, conventions, etc), feel free to ask and I'll definitely give you my unpopular opinions about it. ;)

I don't like the idea of Paul and Echo. Originally I thought about it, but as the seasons went on I kept thinking it the more I realized how much I disliked them together. I felt that Paul and Caroline would have been better matched had they met, not Echo growing as her own person. During "Epitaph Two", that is kind of iffy because obviously Echo had grown and many years went by that perhaps there was more to their relationship that we didn't see, and she obviously felt something for him. So, yeah.

I felt the show should have focused more on Echo and Alpha's relationship more instead of just a few appearances here and there.

I think Dollhouse will be the most under-appreciated Whedon shows simply because of the content. I feel like it doesn't get enough credit for the amazing things it achieved and many just felt uncomfortable and refused to watch because of what they only saw on the surface and instead of what the message was about. I'm not saying the show was perfect, particularly in S1 when FOX took control (once again) over Joss and his creativity, but it just goes to show how amazing things can be mistreated and overlooked until after it's gone.
