Ask me for "top five" lists of pretty much anything, and I will list you my top five of that thing or things.Curiosity gets the better of me. I blame the Boredom Bug that's been affecting me lately. I need to do something productive, and am currently in Writer's Block for one of my stories, which is terribly bad. Blah.
Copy and give your own top fives.

Date: 2005-07-15 03:58 am (UTC)2. House/Simon/Mal (House/Firefly) <---My newest obsession; pretty doctors and snarkiness, what's not to like?
3. Faith/Lilly (Buffy/VMars)
4. River/Dawn (Firefly/BtvS)
5. Inara/Tara (Firefly/BtvS)
There's many others, however these are the top five I'm interested currently at this time. I also have a River/Jarod (Firefly/The Pretender Crossover) forming inside my brain...but more of a father/daughter type of relationship rather than a pairing.

Date: 2005-07-16 06:45 pm (UTC)1. Natalie Portman -- Went to college and majored in a psychology degree; I also respect her for
2. Richard Dean Anderson -- He's not going to be filming Stargate because he wants to spend time with his daughter, which to me gives him the utmost respect for being a good familyman and a good father.
3. Jewel Staite -- She's completely down-to-earth, and Jewel apparently surprised fans at a Fan Meetup for Firefly, and that shows that she hasn't let fame or recognition get inside her head. Plus, she's so sweet in interviews and at the Comic Cons.
4. Hugh Laurie -- The man is an acting GOD (according to me, personally). He's British but can pull off an American accent perfectly in House; he can also be an American doing a bad British accent as well; how many actors can pull that off smoothly? Not too many, and Hugh Laurie glides with it.
5. Michelle Tratchenberg -- Everyone remembers ickle Dawnie from Buffy, but Michelle has proven herself and expanding her acting skills. Even in Ice Princess, a Disney flick, was more sensible than, say, the Lizzie McGuire Movie because Michelle has depth in her acting and really broadens her horizons in her career. I mean, she's been starring in independent films (most recently one that's a strong R to NC-17, I believe). In my book, she very respectable for taking risks.
Top Five Hot-Looking Celebrities: just note, these actors are also respectable and talented, too
1. Eliza Dushku
2. Jensen Ackles
3. Morena Baccarin
4. Kristen Bell
5. Michael T. Weiss
Top Five Favorite TV Scenes:
1. Willow & Tara's Dormroom Sequence, BtVS episode "The Body" -- beautifully acted, wonderful script, and the camera movements moved with each character's emotions (i.e. steady-cam on Tara to show calmness and tranquility, handheld on Willow to show frantic and chaos)
2. First Scene of LOST, the Pilot Episode -- first time I saw that, I was blown away; where Jack returns to the beach and finds the plane crash, flames and people running about, the screaming and yelling. It was a traumatizing scene that showed the aftermath of the crash and how abruptly chaotic is was, and just in the first five-fifteen minutes of the show's opening.
3. Hospital Scene, Medium episode "Lucky" -- Allison placing her headphones while walking through the hospital to block out the souls that are trying to ask her for help; cut to her perspective (for the audience at first sees nothing) we see spirits and lost souls trying to reach out to Allison while she's ignoring them, listening to Marilyn Manson's "Personal Jesus"; based on the real-life Allison DuBois and her experience with being around hospitals and cemetaries.
4. All The Sequences in Veronica Mars -- I just love the camera work and filming techniques used in the show, so it's difficult to pick which exact scene I love the most.
5. The 2004 Summer Olymics, because this was my first time watching it with full interest and being really enthusiastic about the entire thing. Cannot wait for 2008!
