JASON ISAACS' NEW SHOW

I'll admit to still being upset and disappointed that 17th Precinct didn't get picked up, however Awake (formerly called REM) is something I've also been intrigued by from the moment I heard about the premise. And, of course, with Jason Isaacs being involved but that's a given. Watching this trailer however, I have to say it looks absolutely amazing. I think it's gonna be good, perhaps too good for a network like NBC. I really want this to do well because it does look incredible, if slightly depressing, which might put off the regular casual watcher. But nonetheless, I just want them to give this a chance on something with this kind of genre, which is more innovative and intellectual than they've previously had.

Also, how can you go wrong with Jason Isaacs? Seriously.

I just wish that the BSG cast reunion would have joined him in the new season line-up. Because that would have been on new levels of epic nerdgasming right there, ngl.

oh my god, that feels like a sodding movie. i'm so onto that show the moment it airs, jfc. the trailer's just so epically beautiful, i don't even. just, what.

I know right? It just looks so beautiful. I love the color schemes for the different realities, and the strong intense presence that Jason Isaacs has while on the screen. Just that last shot of him with saying that particular line...how can you not have chills after that?

This really does look good. I hope they find a way to make the idea interesting for more than 90 mins. Still it's Jason Isaacs, I'd probably watch him do his taxes.

I'm still sad they didn't pick up 17th Precinct. It looked so much better than Grimm, which did :(

That is true, because this looks more like a movie or miniseries than it does for a full-blown television show. It looks so interesting I hope there's more surprises or clues along the way, but either way it looks fantastic and I'll be there when it premieres for sure.

God, Grimm looks like such a catastrophe, and such a blatant Supernatural rip-off. I would have preferred something new and different like 17th Precinct than that, for sure.

I have an unhealthy amount of lust for Jason (seriously, I put him as the number 2 hottest man in the world after Johnny Depp and his accent makes me want to melt), so this makes me happy. I'll watch him in anything, and this looks really good. He's such a good actor, and he usually only picks projects that are good.

And yeah, Jason usually chooses projects where the script is captivating and the characters are intriguing and fascinating. I watched a video of him explaining why he is an actor and he mentions that he loves playing and experimenting and understanding why people do what they do, and such roles allows him to explore that. I think it's awesome. I think he's awesome, and I can't wait for Awake to premiere.

They described it as being very Inception-style, and boy were they right. The concept of being trapped in two different realities and trying to keep track of both, and seeing that in this trailer, it makes me hopefuly...but a little worried because like I said. This premises sounds too good for network television.
