Day 14 - Team Voldemort or Team Harry?
What kind of question is that? Team Harry, of course. Always.
Day 15 - Who would be your best friends at Hogwarts? (Only three)
Luna Lovegood because she's basically kinda like my other half, in a sense. Just being around her would sort of ground me, in a way. Harry Potter because, how can you not wanna be friends with Harry himself? And...Cho Chang. Now the reason why I say Cho is because I think she's been vastly misjudged by everyone, especially within fandom, all based on her breakdown with Harry in OOTP and had I been there, I would have been that sassy best friend who would have smacked her upside the head going, girlfriend what is wrong with you? but still remaining that good friend regardless.
Day 16 - Are you excited about the Deathly Hallows movie or scared it won’t do the book justice?
Part 1 turned out absolutely fantastic and did the book justice, in my opinion. I cannot wait for Part 2. \O/
Rest of the 30 Days of Harry Potter Challenge.
Also got both Half Blood Prince and Deathly Hallows, Part 1 on DVD because they were on sale. Boo-ya!
Completely unrelated, but I heard that there's gonna be a relaunching of the Animorphs series next month? I'm all for reintroducing them to this newer generation because there aren't that many good YA books out there these days that I've seen, and besides you can't have too many Animorphs fans out there, however I heard that they're revising them so it doesn't seem too much like the '90s? I don't know how true this is or how much revising will be done in this relaunch, but I feel somewhat insulted by that. Nothing is "too '90s", because it's part of our history, it's part of a specific era that is nostalgic to many people. It's like remaking something for a decade ago because it's supposedly outdated. You can't just change things to fit into the present, otherwise everything that had many era-specific references would have to have a relaunch. Leave it alone guys, the '90s were awesome and let the newer generation see that, goddammit.

Damn right, nothing is too 90s! (90s FTW!)

I'm glad it's getting a response unlike other things in the media where complaints about whitewashing gets dismissed so often. It's upsetting seeing as how this is still an issue today.
