Is it sad that I am ridiculously and unhealthily excited for this movie? Possibly, but I don't care. Perhaps the most anticipated movie of this year for me right next to Deathly Hallows, Part 2. OH, and I am going to be picking up the Sucker Punch soundtrack soon because after hearing Emily Browning singing her haunting rendition of "Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This)"....yeah. Need. Right now. Girlfriend can sing, yo. *___*

There is nothing better than having kickass girls in movies.

Especially an all-girl cast, since we've been really lacking the bamf!women in movies lately. There were some people talking about this earlier that there hasn't really been a fantasy-action-scifi movie that features all women characters. So this is something to be all squee about regardless, imo. ♥

That is true. The last few movies I've watched all have male leads being BAMF. Not that I don't like like guys kicking ass but it's hard to find women who can be just as BAMF and not be the lead guy's romantic interest.

This movie has so much anime-ish vibes I get giddy just watching the trailer. It makes me wonder if the other half of the writing team is a fan of things Japanese.
