That is true, but our dreams reflect on our wants and things that are on our minds and what he wanted and have desired, probably for a long time, was a normal kind of life, something calmer, and not the hunting life. Oddly, I might have too, but only had they kept her characterization the way it was and shown some light in between everything about Dean and her being together that was actually believable. Now I just don't care and don't want them together because it's obviously unhealthy and no good for either of them.
