Is this true that the Supernatural wardrobe had been stolen by someone, including one of Castiel's trademark trenchcoats and Dean's leather jacket? THE LEATHER JACKET that apparently cannot be replaced because it was one-of-a-kind? D:

This kind of explains why Dean hasn't worn the leather jacket at all this season. ;__;

I've heard that "one of" Castiel's trenchoats got stolen, as well as "Castiel's" trenchcoat got stolen. I know they have (had, at least, at one point) multiple trenchcoats because of ones that got messed up. But Misha made a comment about an alternate trenchcoat, so I wonder if his is gone as well? And I guess a few other things were stolen, but the coats were the biggest.

So this would seem like it would be adding more to the OOCness of this season with whatever alternates they used, right? -__-

It's just a real tragedy, honestly. I know people will be all "it's just coats" but these are trademark coats that are the essential parts of making the characters who they are. Seeing Castiel in a different kind of trenchcoat would be really fucking weird, to be honest. And Dean without his leather jacket would be devastating. Not that he doesn't have other jackets he's worn on the show before, but the leather jacket just is Dean. :(

I hope it all gets returned, or the find replicas of the trenchcoat because honestly, who on earth would dress them without knowing the character's true wardrobes or have seen the show before? O_o

Well, Castiel's looked the same in 6.03 (to me), so I guess we'll see if it looks different in the future. TBH, I'd rather see Castiel go around in his suit jacket or just the white shirt than some obviously different coat. And losing Dean's coat is just a fucking tragedy. Geez, if someone was going to steal it, couldn't they wait until AFTER the show was done? The coats are character defining! (Related: I remember on Buffy, they sold Spike's coat at the end of S7. Then he ended up going to Angel, and they had to buy a new coat, which didn't fit nearly as well or look nearly as cool.)
