ALL DEAN HAD TO DO WAS CALL OUT TO CASTIEL AND HE SWOOPS RIGHT IN. SAMMY HAS BEEN TRYING ALL YEAR WITH NO AVAIL, AND DEAN JUST HAD TO SAY A FEW WORDS AND SUDDENLY THERE HE IS. YOU WANNA KNOW WHY THIS IS?

CASTIEL ONLY ANSWERS TO DEAN BECAUSE THEY'RE BOYFRIENDS AND HE TRUSTS HIM MORE THAN SAM. SUCK ON THAT, BITCHES!!

(This is of course based only on this clip alone, I have no idea what will happen otherwise after this clip or the episode itself, but I found it hilarious because haven't we been discussing this that if Castiel won't answer to Sam, he'll definitely answer to Dean? This kind of proves that, lol! XD XD XD)

OMG YES! I wonder if this means that Dean and Cas have seen each other in that year? Cas came right when he prayed!!!! Dean seemed so confident that he would! Also, I guess this means Cas removed the rib sigils when he healed Dean in 5.22?

I'm wondering this as well, whether they've seen each other before this or if Castiel made contact with Dean prior to this clip in the episode, or something. But I still kind of how my theory that he might have been dreamwalking regardless, since we know that Castiel loves entering Dean's dreams from time to time. ;)

And if that's the case, the question about the sigils on his ribs is another interesting thing. I wonder if that'll be mentioned. Of course if this is the case then I'll be missing Castiel using his cellphone. :(

No cellphone, but we can be back to RANDOM CAS APPEARANCES! POPPING IN AND SCARING THE SHIT OUT OF PEOPLE. APPEARING BEHIND DEAN IN THE BATHROOM.

I would also love for Cas to have been dreamwalking. That would explain why Dean seems, well, more pleased with him than he did in 5.22. If they've talked some time. Even in 6.01, Dean asks Sam "Does Cas know?" which made me think he had talked to Cas sometime since 5.22, even if he hadn't asked him directly to come down, as he does in this clip. And Dean seems pretty confident that Cas will appear, even his face after Cas does appear--surely he wouldn't be that confident if they hadn't communicated AT ALL in the last year.

LOL YES! RANDOMLY POPPING IN AND OUT FOR THAT PURPOSE ALONE WOULD BE HILARIOUS! Will miss the cellphone, because Cas/phone was the hilarious OTP last season, right alongside Cas/hamburgers, lol. Perhaps he could have both? Still have the phone on hand and zap in and out at random times? THAT WOULD BE PERFECT!

Oh definitely, I totally agree and I am convinced of this as well. *nods* I mean seriously, Dean just going "we should call Cas" like that along with his smug expression after that kind of is suggestive that he knows that he can get Castiel there, which either means he's spoken to him before or previously in the episode.

This makes me even more excited for the episode now. :D

I can die happy if we get confirmation that Dean and Cas have talked in the last year. I will be fine if it is left ambiguous, SO I CAN IMAGINE IT. I will be displeased if it turns out they haven't talked, since Dean's attitude toward Cas in this clip seems comfortable and confident. I even thought that in 6.01, with the casual way he mentions Cas.

But what is up with Sam in this clip? He's definitely hiding something. I want to know RIGHT NOW what Cas knows about Sam and what he thinks about Sam's return.

I don't think Dean has called Castiel Castiel since early S4. Has he said Castiel any other time?

Yeah, I would love some kind of acknowledgment on that, and even if there isn't any specifics definitely ambiguity is the best way to go, because there's definitely too much ease along with some kind of knowing between Dean and Castiel in this. Just something so we know that they're still on the same page, you know?

Something is up with him, without a doubt. Whatever secret he's hoarding, whatever is happening with him, it's something that cannot be trusted. And see, the thing with what they're trying to setup with that (and the Campbells) would be interesting had there been a different way about introducing it in the premiere. But I just don't know at the moment.
