++ Sendhil Ramamurthy should do comedies more often. After Friday's Psych and his video blog piece promoting a movie he doesn't appear in, it's so obvious that he should just do something in the comedy-line of work. Perhaps he should go on How I Met Your Mother or something similar to that. Maybe he and Zachary Quinto and Nathan Fillion and Misha Collins should get together and do something hilarious . How awesome would that be?!

++ Saw Eliza Dushku's movie Open Graves last night when it aired on SciFi, and hoo-boy was it horrible. So very, very horribly bad. The only decent thing about it was Eliza, of course, otherwise I swear I could have had a better time watching paint dry. It makes Soul Survivors and Wrong Turn look like masterpieces, I am so not joking. It was that bad. But I had to watch it because it had Eliza. Oh bb, the things I do for you.

But all wasn't lost, because I saw a very short Caprica teaser for the series. \o/

++ Like most I watched the SPN 5.03 spoiler clip and quite frankly, I loved it. I know there are some Dean/Castiel fans that are uncertain how to take what happened in this clip, but I've determined a few things after rewatching it:
01. Dean is going to make sure that Castiel doesn't die, I'm certain of this. Even if his attitude seemed more or less the "oh you'll die by tomorrow, sucks dude" that's just the Dean Winchester front. Of course we don't know anything in context of what is happening so maybe he had this freakout prior or whatever. But if there's anything Dean does, is not let his angel get threatened to be killed. Not after all what Castiel has done for him, this would be the perfect episode for Dean to see how precious and valuable Castiel is to him.

02. I view Castiel's reaction to the talking about sex more of an embarrassment on his behalf that they're having this conversation than embarrassed that he never had sex before. He's becoming more and more human with his emotional reactions that his awkward looks and fidgeting may indicate that he just does not feel comfortable talking about something like that with Dean. His "I never had the occasion" comment I think was more focused on the fact that being an angel he couldn't do so.

03. Besides which, aside from the blatant slashy innuendo ("special oil"? "Bert and Ernie are gay?" Castiel following Dean?) I highly doubt anything will happen unless it is Dean that deflowers Castiel. I view this episode as something like The Bro Episode between them, establishing that they are teaming up as equals and confidants instead of just mere man and angel having business transactions. Dean attempting to pimp Castiel out will not end in him losing his innocence and purity. Lord, I hope not, because we DO NOT want a repeat of the lame sex shit like last season. No, we do not. No, this episode is more about the growing bond between Dean and Castiel and this is just Dean's way of doing what he does best. But it will backfire because really, what doesn't?
And that's that. I understand the worries a bit, but again the SUBTEXT between them is all that we need. And this episode will have tons of Dean/Castiel scenes just for that. Which I cannot wait for.

Besides, I think there's fanfic of this scene, and more than one. I've read several that had the exact same concept with Dean and Castiel. Oh Kripke, you sneaky bastard, you've been trolling fandom!

++ I've been meaning to do a recommendations post, which I may write up later. But here is something I have to rec out today, because it's simply fantastic:

"Chosen", created by k9lover27 (music video)
For those who love Draco Malfoy, you'll enjoy this fanmade video which illustrates perfectly the conflicts and turmoil he suffers through HBP. The way it was edited with the music, the scenes, the voiceovers, it's really very excellent. I found this just the other day and fell in love. It does an nice job with placing the mood for my poor Draco and what he goes through. ♥

Well, technically Claire is a Petrelli, so she counts in that category. They're all in cahoots with each other, so yeah. I agree this will be the last season, and they've been cut down some episodes instead of the generic 22. There are some things that look okay, but the show has had certain concepts that looked good but landed in the shithole, so.

Misha Collins is going to be in an upcoming SciFi Channel movie called Stonehenge Apocalypse. Predicting it'll be so bad that it's awesome. XD

But I think Claire needs a seperate catagory lol. When Claire thought she was the catalyst, I was like please not be. I think they need to know when to stop following a character, Hiro should not have been kept past the second season. I loved Hiro, and now it's like just like why is he on? Same with Niki/Jessica/Tracy. I think it would have been far more interesting if Trace turned out to be another personality of Niki, then a whole new person. What they did was interesting for like five seconds lol. And of course Mohinder, he shouldn't have been on past the first season.

Stonehenge Apocalypse
OMG I'm going to have to watch that lol. It should be so cheesy and bad it'll be hysterical. I once spotted Jack Coleman on a bad SciFi movie, it was the end but it looked like he was in a submarine that was in a volcano lol.

I do agree about the Hiro thing, but not with Niki or Mohinder. I loved Niki/Jessica and thought they had something going great with her in season one, but I was so confused in season two and they completely retconned her entire character's storyline (I would have preferred if Niki/Jessica stayed alive, even though Tracy is kickass). I consider Mohinder a very vital character in the series from seasons one and two, and I really enjoyed season two and where they were going with his development. It could have been interesting where they took him afterward but they ruined that is season three by turning him into Jekyll/Hyde Spider-Bug-Man. :/

The show really overuses these characters due to contracts I think, and try to make ridiculous storylines make sense just to keep them around more, often ignoring continuity and consistencies and actual character development with them. I mean, what is the point of Sylar anymore? Seriously. He should have gone away like, since season two. Hell, S1 he should have just remained gone.

I thought Niki/Jessica was so boring. Everytime it looked like something was interesting, it kind of fell flat to me lol. I would have liked it better if Niki/Jessica kind of got pushed aside by Tracy after the fire, but instead they made it just a whole new person. I hope they don't bring Barbara in either, that'll just be like why? lol.

Sylar kind of lost it a bit last season. I think they over did him and the shape-shifting to. It was kind of like OH LOOK, I CAN SHAPE-SHIP EVERYWHERE! Although I thought him turning into his mother was surprising.

And as I've been saying, they need to think about how they want the show to end and work toward it. With the type of show they've created, they can't just do random things everywhere and forget about what they did in the past volumes.

I really loved Niki/Jessica because of the mystery of whether she did have a split personality or whatever, and I had wanted her to become one after the S1 finale, but it's when they had the multiple personality thing that really threw me off. But I do agree, they are really using Ali like crazy for multiple people which of course, this is Heroes where they just overuse things ad nauseum. It's getting ridiculous.

Sylar is so boring and overrated. There is nothing new with him and it got old fast. :/

With the type of show they've created, they can't just do random things everywhere and forget about what they did in the past volumes.

THIS THIS THIS. It's the biggest pet peeve of mine with this show, because Tim Kring obviously has no plans whatsoever of how the story is going to end, or even where it's all going. They've done this song and dance before with characters wanting to go back to "normal lives" and whatnot. The show should just get canceled already, I don't foresee anything beyond the same old bullshit they've been doing.

I did like it better before it turned into multiple personality caused by having an ability. I thought it would get a little interesting when they showed her as Gina, but that went nowhere.

Tim Kring obviously has no plans whatsoever of how the story is going to end
I think there was even an interview where someone mentioned that there were no plans far in the future and I was like WE CAN SEE THAT. And that is the shows problem, but I will be with it until the end lol. I think this will be the final season unless they pulls themselves together. What's the point of having different volumes if you omit the past ones as a new one starts?

I actually had a theory that Jessica had an ability too, and after she died she would live in inside of Niki which would then reveal whatever that power was. I thought that would have been nifty to see. But yeah, the Gina character was so utterly random. And it got DL killed, which made me sad. Such a waste.

I won't be following it. Maybe for the lulz, but otherwise I think it'll crash and burn.

That's an interesting theory. Mine was more along the lines of almost possession but not quite lol. Like she was Niki, and Jessica was Jessica, but the somehow fused without it being a multiple personality order if that makes any sense lol.

I was interested in seeing where they were going with the Gina storyline, but obviously that went nowhere. And before Tracy was a triplet, I thought it was like Nikki was killed and was now Tracy which could turn into someone else(even Jessica). I had the Five Years Gone episode in mind because Jessica was killed and it was just Niki.

I'm still going to watch, I love Heroes lol. Even with all it's problems, I still find it good and I'm going to stick with it until the end. I just hope they have one big season finale since I think this is going to be the last season lol.
