So, watched the premiere of Warehouse 13 tonight, totally forgetting that Tricia Helfer's appearance is next week and only figured that out midway through the premiere itself, but I think it's pretty good so far. At least it's entertaining enough to be drawn in and the characters aren't annoying, and the lead guy is pretty funny and kind of awesome. Also? It was created and written by Jane Espenson, so that's a major plus. It has that good quality kind of entertainment like you would find in, say, Eureka with plenty of mystery. I was engaged with their assignment so, definitely has much potential and worth a shot if anyone is willing to test it out. I'm going to be seeing the next episode, that's for sure (not just because of Tricia, although that is something to be amped out watching anyway).

Other BSG alumni will be featured on the show too, along with other guest stars which, um, yay. They showed previews for Stargate Universe, which looks between wanting to be serious but will probably be for the lulz, and for Caprica, which I already have and seen and know it will be premiering next year and all but, seriously, I want moar new footage beyond the pilot, plz, kthx.

However, I do have one thing to mention....

I HATE THE NEW NETWORK NAME "SYFY", O HALE NONONONO! THAT IS JUST CORNY AND SILLY AND LAME. I'M STILL CALLING IT THE SCIFI CHANNEL I DON'T CARE WHAT ANYONE ELSE SAYS, "SYFY" IS JUST, UGH. NO. WHOEVER THOUGHT THAT WAS A GOOD IDEA WAS ON THE BADCRACK. I MISS THE OLD SCIFI LOGO AND THE MUSIC AND ALL THAT (though they are keeping the cool promos, that's awesome) BUT OTHERWISE NO!

They officially announced that they were changing it on the 7th, which was yesterday. I saw promos for it when I was watching the Twilight Zone Marathon they had during the Fourth of July. But yes, MAJOR BRAINFART and a bad one at that.

I just realized I put sysy instead of syfy, but you know what? Sysy is better than syfy for some reason lol.

I didn't see any of those, but when I put on warehouse 13 I was like syfy? When did that happen? Now I know I missed the announcment. They could have at least kept the same font for syfy though, the new one kept drawing me in lol.

The new font looks very meh. I know they're shooting for bright and shiny new stuff but, idk, it looks off and perhaps a bit too shiny. I miss the old SciFi. :(

It will always be SciFi to me. Syfy, what on earth. I have a block against it, I keep typing sysy instead of syfy lol.

Maybe they should dim the font a bit? It was just so bright and BAM!WE ARE SYFY NOW.
