It's nearing the end of the seasons for television, which on a whole kinda sucks but since I only have like a few shows left on the air it doesn't necessarily matter. Or perhaps it does because that means I won't be getting anymore awesomeness from those few shows until after the summer hiatus. Oh well. Anyway, the Dollhouse "finale" was through the roof and I'm hoping FOX does the sensible thing and renewing it for another season. I loved Supernatural and will be mentally preparing myself for next Thursday, which will no doubt be pretty damn epic and heartbreaking.

Everyone's talking about the new Star Trek movie. I might go see it, I might not. Depends. I'm not a Trekkie and haven't followed that fandom, but seeing at how certain people are raving about it I might go check it out.

Speaking of movies, the official trailer for Blood: The Last Vampire has been released, and holy fuck does it look intense. Totes going to see this, fo'reals. I'm not familiar with the manga series but have heard interesting things about it, overall the reaction to the trailer is positive that it might actually be a nice adapation of the series.

Other movies I want to see, aside from the new HP film obviously, are Public Enemy (Johny Depp and Christian Bale with many, many guns? YESPLZ), Terminator Salvation (Christian Bale as John Connor) and Inglourious Basterds (directed by Quentin Tarantino, a spaghetti-western-like WWII war film, very Tarantino-style). I've not been a huge moviegoer lately, but these films? I am totally going to be seeing in theaters.

I'll totally be seeing these movies as well. Today I'll be double-featuring Wolverine and Star Trek. I am also not a Trekkie, but I've been hearing good things about this movie from others who are also not Trekkies, so maybe you should give it a shot :)

Don't just see Star Trek for fannish interests, go because it's an all-around good movie!

Hee. Hearing many of the positive things all over my flist I can tell it's a good movie even for those non-Trekkies such as myself. Also, it can be a good introduction without having much knowledge of the original series, amirite?

Totally. I've never seen an episode of Star Trek in my life - what I know about the series is what I've gleaned from culture, my flist, and the five minutes of reruns I might catch here and there while flipping channels - and I still really, really enjoyed the film. I have no doubt I was missing some in-jokes and references, but it was a fun movie.

I'm not a trekkie, and star trek looks like it might be good. I've heard it was good to(from trekkies and non-trekkies), but I'll probably see it when it's out on DVD lol.

Same here. I have no desire to become a Trekkie once I finally do see it, but the film I think is designed for the newer generation along with the older generation as it's meant to be an introduction to the universe to those not familiar with it before.

I am dying to see Public Enemy and Terminator Salvation too! I'll probably watch the Star Trek movie next week, while my friends watch the Hannah Montana one *lol*

I have to admit, even though she's been overpopularized and overexposed, I think the new Hannah Montana movie looks kinda cute. I dunno, I have a hackering for cheesy teenybopper kind of movies every now and again, even if it has Miley Cyrus.

Before the Star Trek movie they had a very long 4 minute preview of the new Terminator movie, and though I am still not sold on this my brother might make me take him because he loves anything with things getting blown up. I am more of an original Terminator fan and I really hated the third movie, and was extremely surprised in how good the TV show was.

I'm a Terminator film fan myself, sans the third film as I pretend that one doesn't exist, and I loved TSCC (like duh) but seeing previews and such for Terminator Salvation I'm very excited to what's going to happen. I don't know, I'm just so psyched in general for it. Whether good or not will depend once we actually see it, and I intend of going to see it either way.
