CASTIEL. OH MY CASTIEL, ILU SO MUCH RIGHT NOW. LOVED HIS APPEARANCE THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE THING. THE WHOLE INTERACTION WITH HIM AND URIEL AND SAM AND DEAN IN THE MOTEL ROOM, THE WAY HE'S TALKING TO DEAN, WITH ALL-KNOWING EYES AND THE WAY THEY LOOK AT EACH OTHER, HOW THEY ACT, ETC. CASTIEL IN THE PARK WITH URIEL WAS FANTASTIC (HEE, PREVIEW CLIP, I SEE U THAR!) AND AGAIN IN THE PARK WITH DEAN IN THE END. AND OMG THAT ENDING! I LURVES IT SO FRAKKING MUCH. HIM CONFIDING IN DEAN, TELLING HIM HIS ORDERS WERE TO FOLLOW HIS ORDERS, THAT IT WAS A TEST, THAT HE'S CHEERING HIM ON IN THIS WHOLE WAR SPECTRUM, THAT HE DOES QUESTION THINGS AND IS UNSURE ABOUT WHERE ALL THIS MIGHT LEAD, AND ALL THAT. AND THE LOOKS THEY GIVE EACH OTHER I JUST, ASJDKL;FJASL;DJFAS!!!!

ALSO, THE COMPARISONS BETWEEN DEAN AND CASTIEL FOLLOWING ORDERS FROM THEIR "FATHERS"? OMGLUFF. TOTES ENDORSING MY CASTIEL/DEAN SHIP AIN'T YA, KRIPKE? ILUSOMUCH FOR THAT.

HOW DOES THIS SHOW CONTINUE TO BE AWESOME? IT JUST KEEPS GETTING BETTER AND BETTER WITH EACH EPISODE THIS SEASON AND I'M ALL FLAILING AND GAH AND ASJDF;LAKSJDF!!! YEAH. ♥

It was so beautiful and touching and it really grips at you when Castiel is trusting Dean and Dean isn't backing away or even telling him off. LOVELOVELOVE. ♥

I knooow. I can't stop rewatching it. Just EVERY SINGLE THING is brilliant. That he won't judge Dean; that he hoped Dean would choose the way he did; that he tells Dean things he wouldn't tell anyone else; and that Dean will listen. JKFDSFGHSJF.

Hee, Sam fanboying Castiel was cute too.

It was one of my favorite little acting moments from Misha, when Sam had his hand out and Castiel quite clearly had no idea what to do with it; his eyes from up from it to Sam's face and back down to the hand, staring, and then Sam gave it a little jerk to indicate motion, and Castiel's mouth opened - you can almost hear him thinking, "Oh, that's what you do!" And then he takes Sam's hand in both of his and doesn't let go for a while, hee.

But still, Castiel is all "okay, boy with the demon blood, glad to know you are doing well". It was so awkward yet cute. XD

It was. And I really liked Sam's silent reaction to it. Sort of a "What?" and then a disappointment as he realized of course that's how the angels have heard of him, as someone maybe dangerous who had to be stopped.

GAH MISHA WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO ME!!

Seriously. Man needs to come with some kind of warning label. Like, what? The actor is intelligent, articulate, funny, fandom-friendly, worked at the White House, worked at NPR, started his own software company, is a Buddhist, built his own house, is a published poet, and he does stuff like kayak and build igloos. Oh, and he married his high school sweetheart. And he plays a completely awesome and wonderful character on the best season of SPN yet. MISHA CANNOT BE REAL, WHAT.

I just rewatched that scene again and that was too adorable! Really putting the concept into play that angels aren't familiar with direct human interaction so all this learning of such mannerisms could be what is adding to humanize Castiel here and there, bit by bit. I love it.

SRSLY, I TOTES AGREE! With all that in the package of just one completely awesome and adorable man, he totally cannot be real. Nobody is that perfect. Except he is, and I am just smitten to death. Me too! I adore it and I adore him. DEMAND MOAR CASTIEL. (I actually had a dream last night that they killed him off in 4x10, and I was REALLY UPSET. And then I had a dream about Dean's time in hell, and it turned out that hell a huge suburban neighborhood, except he was the only occupant, and the refrigerator was always empty, LOLOL.)

And now I'm wondering why we all don't have a Misha of our own? For serious. HE'S SETTING MY EXPECTATIONS AND IDEALS FOR A GUY TOO HIGH NOW, DAMMIT!

The minute human cloning becomes possible, I demand a Misha!
